Brandon was extremely knowledgeable on both my trade-in (Jeep Wrangler) and the new Camry I was looking at. Throughout the entire process, Brandon answered my questions fully, listened carefully to my nee (Jeep Wrangler) and the new Camry I was looking at. Throughout the entire process, Brandon answered my questions fully, listened carefully to my needs, and in the end gave me the exact car I wanted at a price I was extremely happy with. I would absolutely recommend that my friends and family go to Brandon if they are interested in a new vehicle. In the end, I have zero complaints. More
I liked Larry (and I really liked the receptionist), but some of the first words out of Chris's mouth overstated the car's MPG. Since we no longer had a car when the dealership was ready to do the paperwork, we arranged to have someone stop by our home to complete it. This never happened, and I ended up traveling several hours by bus and foot to get to the dealership. More
It was 100 degrees, I was stuck in traffic, and my car's air conditioner decided to die. What timing!! Fortunately, Toyota of Wellesley made the situation MUCH less stressful than most other car issues I air conditioner decided to die. What timing!! Fortunately, Toyota of Wellesley made the situation MUCH less stressful than most other car issues I've had. Everybody I dealt with, from the first person who took my keys, to the nice gentleman who gave me a ride after dropping my car off, to the service manager Chris were extremely professional, honest, and helpful. My car ended up needing a significant amount of attention (it's 8 years old), and every step of the way was explained to me in detail. No surprises here! And I was never "pressured" into anything I didn't need, which is so refreshing! Overall it was an extremely positive experience. More
I have had the kind of Service experiences with Chris Massaro that just make the day better. My first encounter with him was when he tackled a series of minor, thankless, and (for another person, perhaps Massaro that just make the day better. My first encounter with him was when he tackled a series of minor, thankless, and (for another person, perhaps) irritating requests I had, regarding outstanding "extras" from my new car purchase. He relentlessly pursued the items I needed, as if his very life depended on getting them. It was tremendously helpful to have things just "taken care of" by Chris. This has developed into a pattern with him; I bring him one problem or another and he cheerfully, competently, and quickly just makes the trouble disappear, as if by magic. My most recent trip to Chris was to get my Scion XD mended after being struck from the rear by another driver. He set me up with a rental at a rate that worked for my insurance company, handled all paperwork seamlessly, and even faxed some extra paperwork to the insurer after I bungled the attempt. A real hero! I actually look forward to seeing Chris, now. It says much about a Service representative, for a customer to look forward to taking their vehicle into "the shop." I have encountered very few people in my working life who combine Chris' mixture of willingness, intelligence, consistency, warmth, and pure competence. I recommend him highly and without any reservation or qualifications. He is simply doing a stellar job! More

I recently stopped in to Toyota of Wellesley for my 45k service on a Corolla. I have never serviced my car there before, but I was in the area and I had been staring at the "check engine" light for about service on a Corolla. I have never serviced my car there before, but I was in the area and I had been staring at the "check engine" light for about 2000 miles so I pulled into the service bay without a reservation. They had friendly staff in the drive-in bay that asked what I was there for and directed me into the service office. Everything in the building seemed brand new and very clean. Chris Massaro handled my paperwork and was very pleasant and professional. I was worried that the service was going to take a long time but since I was going to wait for my car, Chris said he would try squeeze me in. I also mentioned that a previous dealership I had service my car told me about 10k miles ago that I would need to change my tires soon, so I asked him to have them checked well in case I needed to get new ones. The whole check-in process was very quick and Chris then directed me to the customer waiting room, another clean and new area with a huge flat-screen tv, free coffee, and cushy chairs. Periodically throughout the service, Chris would come in and just give me a heads-up as to the progress of my car. When it was all done, Chris came and got me, told me everything was fine and that my tires were definitely good for another 5k-10k miles and I shouldn't even worry about it until the fall. I spent a good 10 minutes asking him about different tires he likes, ones that he has seen people have issues with, etc. He was extremely helpful and more than willing to spend the time to answer my questions, even though after his advice I wouldn't be looking to buy new tires until October-ish. He even went back into the shop and asked a tire distributor that happened to be there at the time about some of the tires that I had researched before. When I was done talking to Chris about tires, I got in my car which was exactly as it was when I pulled in...no mess, no paper, no smudges. A week later, I cut a turn short and gouged the sidewall of my front right tire on a curb...I was worried about it so I brought it back over to Wellesley. Chris looked at it and said it was fine and that, considering I was kind of strapped for cash and I was planning on buying a whole new set of tires in a few months, I should just move the front tire to the back (which he had a tech do for free right there on the spot!!!) in case it did blowout...this way I wouldn't lose control of the vehicle. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience. Chris was helpful, knowledgeable, and very considerate. I will definitely continue to use them for service going forward. More
I recently brought my Toyota Sequoia in for service on my brakes and had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with Chris Massaro. Not only was Chris effective in getting my car serviced quickly and properly, but he was kind, friendly, professional and considerate of the fact that we have 4 young children and needed our vehicle back quickly and in good repair. The next time I had the pleasure of seeing Chris was when my navigation unit was in disrepair. Again, Chris was friendly and professional - going out of his way to make sure that my children and I were comfortably seated in the waiting room / child care play area while our navigation unit was attended to. My experience at Toyota of Wellesley was made a pleasant one by the wonderful customer service provided by Chris Massaro and the service department. Thank You Toyota of Wellesley! More
On June 28, I brought my 2007 Camry to the dealership to check out a possible tire problem. What I got from Mr. McParland was a checklist indicating a total of $3,500 of repairs (a leaking strut, leaking timing cover, leaking steering rack). None of these items appeared on the checklist on my previous visit to Wellesley Toyota. I took the car to an independent mechanic whom I had used in the past and we put the car on a lift and looked. There was only minor, normal seepage from one strut and from the steering rack; the timing cover was fine. Good-bye to Toyota and its shabby products and dishonest dealers! My new sedan is on my driveway and it's NOT a Toyota!!! More
So often, too often, one hears horror stories about car dealerships: the hard sell, trumped up service charges, delays and callous service with little regard as to the client’s needs. Nothing could be fart dealerships: the hard sell, trumped up service charges, delays and callous service with little regard as to the client’s needs. Nothing could be farther from those experiences at Wellesley Toyota Service. In the twelve years I have been a client of the service department, I have never been disappointed by the professional care my car has received, the relationship the staff has built with me, and the transparency with which the team has always discussed my car’s needs and the price point of each thing to be done to my car. Last night, in the middle of this heat wave, my car’s air conditioning went down. Completely. I called Wellesley Toyota hoping that at some point in the near future they would be able to fit me in. Well, it’s 10:30 the next morning, and I am home with a fully functioning, ice-cold-blasting air conditioner. Before I left Wellesley Toyota, I asked Eric Graf, the Service Department Director, for places online I could write to let others know what wonderful service I had received. After my second request he turned over this website so that I could let others know just how fabulous his service department is. It’s clear that Eric and his team treat every client with the same level of attention. I’m not even sure that Eric realizes how special this level of service is and how rarely one encounters this level of exemplary service in the day-to-day world. As I sat waiting for my car, I watched as Eric and his team of consultants conferred with clients. (I should also mention that they have a quiet room as well as a large room with a television for patrons who prefer to wait with entertainment.) The tone is upbeat, and while the department is busy, it never feels rushed or harried. Some may refer to my car as old; I prefer to think of my aging Rav4 as ‘vintage.’ In the last couple of years it has needed some work, mostly unplanned. Each time I call, Eric has been incredibly accommodating, fitting me in, including the time a speeding driver on Watertown Street in Newton yanked the driver-side door off its hinges. He has never made me feel rushed or as if I am inconveniencing him. Rather, he has always taken his time explaining my options so that I am clear what my choices are before I decide how to proceed. I find that Eric is always the voice of reason encouraging me to try the least expensive option when sometimes I am tempted to just plunge ahead. This willingness to work with me has built such trust that I have complete faith in what he says. What a wonderful way to feel about the person who is caring for your car! While Eric has been terrific in addressing my emergency needs, I should also point out that I have been equally satisfied with my routine care. I happen to love my RAV4, as it is the older model and I would like to keep it as long as I can. Eric and I discussed what the car would need to keep it safe and viable. His assessment was clear and I now have a plan for the next year, as I begin to think about replacing the RAV. Eric is the consummate professional. It is clear that he has set the tone for his entire department. Clients are treated with respect, and even as Wellesley Toyota continues to grow, Eric has not lost the sense of ‘family’ that has set his service department apart from other dealerships. Thanks, Eric, for making car care and repair a pleasure! More
