I wanted to buy an 07 3 hatch. I did this through the internet and they called me 2 days later. They had very good service and they were very upfront and honest. Unfortunately, I did not buy the car from internet and they called me 2 days later. They had very good service and they were very upfront and honest. Unfortunately, I did not buy the car from them because I felt low balled on my trade and they did not want to meet me on price. I ended up getting my car at Liberty Mazda (horrible dealership) because they gave me a lower price and a better value on my trade. While I did get a better value for my money at Liberty, I still wish I tried to negotiate the trade a little more at Wellesley. They are, by far, a much better dealership than Liberty (they have tried to scam me by charging for warrenty service). For the extra price of Wellesley, I think they are worth it. More
Researched the cars on the internet and knew where all the models and color were in MA. Through work had s-plan pricing and was setup with a certificate to use a Wellesley Mazda. They didn’t have the co the models and color were in MA. Through work had s-plan pricing and was setup with a certificate to use a Wellesley Mazda. They didn’t have the color that my girlfriend wanted. They offered us money off invoice pricing for a different color she also liked. They guy was honest that we could get our s-plan at any dealer and we left. After driving up to 128 Mazda realized we liked the color at Wellesley better so we were back there the next day. First we got the car for about $580 off of invoice on a Mazda 3 5-door touring. So for price we could not complain a bit. We started with s-plan pricing and negotiated down from there, it was not a fight to get it. I have to give credit where credit is due. This dealer’s show room is not pretty. They don't have coffee and donuts waiting for you. But the sales experience was pretty good. Our sales person that we started with was Greg. He was upfront and honest. The second day we were there the sales manager dealt with us because Greg was not there. We got the dealer holdback 385 and an additional 195 for a sales fee they charge at the end taken off the s-plan price (s-plan and invoice are the same) of the car. When picking up the car we had a little wait and Greg ran down the street to D & D to get us a coke and hot chocolate. So for a sales experience I recommend. Will re-evaluate once we have service performed. Their shop and service area are old and need to be updated. Service area is not very clean, but we’ll give them a shot. More
I had shopped on-line, selected a vehicle from their inventory and called to check it's availablility. The sales guy who answered the phone made the easiest sale of his career. When I showed up at the inventory and called to check it's availablility. The sales guy who answered the phone made the easiest sale of his career. When I showed up at the dealer, "my" sales guy was busy with a customer and, despite other sales people and the sales manager stading around idle, I has to wait an hour for my sales person. I need to make the purchase that day because some rebates were about to expire. Otherwise I would have walked. While in the office with the finance guy, I noticed on his screen that he "forgot" to enter one of the rebates into the system. He made the correction and then rudely turned the screen away from my view. The whole experience made me swear never to set foot into that dealer again. More
