We went very late on a Wednesday night thinking to buy a Mazda 3 i Sport at the special price quoted on their website specials.. The car was great.. Ally was wonderful from the moment I drove in to the deal Mazda 3 i Sport at the special price quoted on their website specials.. The car was great.. Ally was wonderful from the moment I drove in to the dealership.. She was with us during the test drive.. Pretty Knowledgeable.. Then once it came to the price, we dealt with Greg who was good.. Never there was any persuasion with the price we negotiated.. Mitch in the finance department was cool and fast with the paperwork.. Even though they were supposed to be closed by 8 PM, our negotiations went till 9 PM and all of them stayed up.. Darren, finally came up to close the deal and he was very good in explaining all the points involved.. The best part with this dealership as I said before is that they never force you into anything unlike many other dealers.. The only thing they can improve upon is more details about few minor things like the options, paperwork or finance related issues because for a first time buyer many questions would come into mind.. Hope their new building gets up and running pretty fast because we hardly had any food/coffee.. These are all pretty minor stuff but my overall experience was very good.... More
Everyone at the dealership was truly a pleasure to work with. I came in to test drive a 2010 Mazda3, both the 4-door and the 5 door on Feb 20, 2010. The place was under construction so I felt a bit weird when I got out of my car to try to search for some sort of entrance, but the second I got out of my car, Mitch was there to greet me. I had dealt with Greg Flowers via email (where the communication was also excellent) but he was busy with other customers so Mitch took care of me. Mitch was extremely knowledgeable about both vehicles and when it came time to talk pricing he first went over a brief history of the dealership and their customer service record (they are family owned with salaried sales people who get a set commission fee no matter what the car sells for). There was absolutely no pressure and they were willing to meet a quote I had gotten from Quirk. When I informed them I was in a bit of a hurry as I planned to leave in time to test drive Jettas at a dealer nearby before making a decision they were not pushy at all. Greg Flowers had even made his way over to say hello when he was done with his other customers. I eventually came back the next weekend and decided to buy the Mazda3 sedan with the Moonroof/Bose package. They laid out all the fees including their invoice pricing showing me that I was getting the best possible deal without basically taking them to the poor house. This pricing matched the research I had done on Edmonds.com etc, and they explained everything to me up front. Next I met Al in Financing who showed me extended warranty information. This is generally a great place for dealerships to make the most profit. At no time did Al pressure me in anyway or tried to persuade me to get anything I didn't want. In fact, his main goal seemed to be to get me out of their as quickly as possible (he's a filing machine) plus he was even able to get me a deffered payment 45 days out. Finally I spoke to Alex with Customer Care. EXTREMELY nice fellow who went over the owners manual and owner loyalty program (free oil changes and every other service, etc.) answering any questions I might have had. He gave me the keys to the car and while we were talking Mitch had transferred the plates from my old car and taken off all the plastic, etc on the new one. I drove my new car off the lot that same afternoon. Definitely give these guys a shot if you're looking for a Mazda. More
The sales person quoted us a price and ensured us we will be getting 0% APR financing. When we returned to close on the car, we were told the price was the cash price. When I complained I was yelled at and t be getting 0% APR financing. When we returned to close on the car, we were told the price was the cash price. When I complained I was yelled at and told my wife (who negotiated the price) misunderstood the sales people. Standing my ground, they agreed to accept the price we were quoted, but the yelling and the stress they caused on us and our two kids made this a dreadful experience. I will never shop there again. My wife and I saw a 08 cx-9 on autotared.com, I called Wellesley Mazda and told them we would be down that night to look at it. When we got there the car wasn't there a salesman had taken it home, so the Wellesley Mazda and told them we would be down that night to look at it. When we got there the car wasn't there a salesman had taken it home, so they showed up a couple different cx-9's they had but we were only interested in the one we came down to look at. We told them we would be down the following night to look at the car. The next day I called and told them we'd be down around 5pm and that I wanted to make sure the car would be there, they said that it would be. When we got there the car was there, but it was filthy it had food wrappers and the the salemans clothes in it. We were upset that they knew we were coming and didn't take 5 minutes to clean out the car till we got there. That night we decided we wanted a new cx-9 instead of a used. We thought we would give Wellesley Mazda one more shot, so I called and told them what we wanted (2010 cx-9 sport with heated pwr. seats, remote starter, auto dimming rear view mirror and backup camera, black with black int.). The General Manager Darren Bonanno called me back and said that he couldn't get us the car we wanted for the price we wanted. I told him that I had talked to Quirk Mazda and they could and if he could beat there price I would buy from him, if not I would buy from them. He would call me at work and tell me there is no way they could sell me the car for the price they quoted and that if i bought from Quirk they would add things in last minute to drive the price up. His phone calls were very annoying and upsetting. I had to tell him to stop calling me. In the end we bought from Quirk Mazda and the car end up being $500 less than they originally quoted me. More

What a wonderful--dare I say enjoyable?--experience! What a wonderful--dare I say enjoyable?--experience! Last night, I took a trip out to Wellesley Mazda with my boyfriend, Anthony, who had his sights set on a new Mazda 3, 2.5. After weeks of research and planning, Tony knew exactly what he wanted -- and knew, too, that he didn't want to be haggled, hassled, etc. (you know, all that unpleasant stuff so many of us have experienced during the car-buying process ... )-- and so we set out together to try and claim the prize. IMMEDIATELY, we were greeted with a smile and a handshake by Mitch Harris, one of the dealership's wonderful Sales & Leasing Consultants. After a brief wait (as the team worked to locate the car Tony had inquired about -- the exact car he had envisioned for himself), the three of us were off on a test drive. As Tony drove and I played with all the fancy buttons and looked in all the compartments, Mitch told us about the car, the dealership, himself, and what to expect from the buying process ... all without being the least bit pushy or entering into that hard-sell territory that so many of us potential purchasers fear and loathe the most. After the drive (which was excellent!), we sat down and got into the nitty-gritty of things. Mitch listened carefully and patiently as Tony talked about his purchase plan -- what he wanted and what he didn't want -- and then Mitch filled in some gaps, asking questions along the way. NEVER ONCE was either Tony or myself pressured, mislead, pressed, or rushed into anything. In fact, Mitch -- and the rest of the Wellesley Mazda team -- was completely professional, patient, attentive, friendly, humorous, efficient and totally genuine. Ultimately (we spent about an hour and a half total at the dealership), Mitch brokered a deal -- with the help of others -- to get Tony his perfect car (and I do mean perfect -- from the color of the car, to the specs, and so forth) at the right price. And, it was all totally painless! Please trust me when I say that THIS IS THE PLACE to buy or lease your next car! I can honestly say that I have never -- either directly or indirectly -- experienced such a pleasant car buying experience, or left a dealership feeling so positive. The team at Wellesley Mazda really believes in building a customer base by making the customer happy ... this just makes all the difference. Go for it! Ask for Mitch! More
