There are a number of dealers in the area who were more competitive and respectful. Although this dealership is the closest to my residence I would not return there. competitive and respectful. Although this dealership is the closest to my residence I would not return there. More
They might be great when you're paying them, not when you want to get your NEW car fixed on their warranty... I bought a 2011 Mazda 3 here in late June 2011. By the end of 2012 it was making this awful hi want to get your NEW car fixed on their warranty... I bought a 2011 Mazda 3 here in late June 2011. By the end of 2012 it was making this awful high pitched shrill noise whenever I used the air. I made an appointment with THIS dealership because I had bought my car here and my sales man calls me every few months to see "how I like my Mazda", I had generally liked the place so far. I drove two hours down there and explained what was going on. I was very clear on the fact that it didn't ALWAYS make the noise, it was sporadic, and that it didn't make it when the vent was on 4. First of all they quoted me a price of $220, which was ridiculous to me because my car is still under warranty. Anyway, the kid comes back an hour later and tells me I am all set to go, "there is nothing wrong with your car". I told him there most certainly was something wrong with it, the noise is unbearable when it comes on and it doesn't always do it. After trying to explain this to him several times he shrugs an says "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU". I said, I know I am going to get back in the car and get halfway home and it is going to start up again...he says "make sure the dial isn't stuck between 2 numbers"... sorry do you think I don't know how to turn a DIAL? At this point he and the other mechanics are looking at me like I am crazy. So I leave. Go back to my car...dial is on 4! So of course it wasn't making the noise. About half an hour into my trip home...sound is back.... Upset about the encounter, I write an email to my salesman and the general manager explaining that I was extremely displeased with the "service" I received. I also BRIEFLY mentioned that I thought it was ridiculous that a new car would have a problem like this and that I would be charged $220 when it was still under warranty. Two weeks later I finally get a call from the salesman. He gets right into a defensive conversation about the fact that I was upset about the cost. Very rude. "I don't know what to tell you" again was the gist. I finally interrupted him and said the REAL PROBLEM was the horrid service, he suggested I bring it back in....Yeah right. In the end, I drove it up to Tully Mazda in Nashua...didn't take him long to figure out it was the blower....which is covered under warranty. My car is fixed at no cost and NO THANKS to Wellesley Mazda. When the GM doesn't care about how their customers are treated, it speaks volumes. GO ELSEWHERE. The kid at the service desk name was Max, it wasn't available for the selection above. I don't know the service man's name. More
Bill was great all around. He took me on a test drive, explained all the features of the car. He told me all the options and was very patient with my general indecision. He was helpful, friendly, and in explained all the features of the car. He told me all the options and was very patient with my general indecision. He was helpful, friendly, and in the end I bought a car I really like and I think it was a good deal. I left very happy with what I got. However, some other aspects of the dealership were not ideal. It took 5-10 phone calls to set up delivery. At one point someone told me that I could not pick up the car until Thursday night but had to pick it up by Friday (a very small window for someone working). When I called back to say, ok, I'll pick it up Thursday night, someone else told me it wouldn't be ready. So then I set up an appointment for Saturday. Bill then called me on Friday asking when I would come get it which means they never bothered to tell him. It was ridiculous and frustrating. Also, when I requested a quote online (before coming in), no one sent me a quote they just tried to make me an appointment. When I wrote back and said "send me a quote" they didn't send it for the right type of car. The online quote system is useless. More
This dealership has the worst customer service and overall quality of service I have ever encountered. Do NOT get your car serviced there. In addition to being charging too much, you can also expect overall quality of service I have ever encountered. Do NOT get your car serviced there. In addition to being charging too much, you can also expect to be lied to, treated unfairly, and screwed over in any way possible. If you're lucky, they'll even cause extra damage to your vehicle and then denying doing so. I highly recommend taking your car ANYWHERE but there. More

We had been to several other dealerships prior to Wellesley Mazda and were not sure what we were in for. However, Bill was fantastic. We totally did not think we were going to buy a car when we walke Wellesley Mazda and were not sure what we were in for. However, Bill was fantastic. We totally did not think we were going to buy a car when we walked in and had a new Mazda parked in our driveway by the evening. Bill was very sensible, I never felt any pressure and he was extremely knowledgeable. He even entertained my son while I learned about the new car. Everything moved quickly and seamlessly. I am so glad we found Wellesley Mazda! More
I'll start my saying that I did NOT end up buying a car here, but had a great experience none the less. I came in and before I even got in the door, Wayne greeted me and asked how I can help. I told him here, but had a great experience none the less. I came in and before I even got in the door, Wayne greeted me and asked how I can help. I told him I was looking for a MazdaSpeed3 and his face lit up - was happy to show me the car they had and answer any questions I had about it. I had quite a few technical questions and he knew it all. We test drove it and he was helpful but never pushy or aggressive - only told me stuff when I asked. He clearly knew everything about the car and really loved that car. I needed to bring in my trade in which I did the next day. Again Wayne was very welcoming. We sat down, i asked him to clarify some things on the warranty and he did. The price I wanted was below what he could make and the manager Danny came out. Things got a little worse here, as Danny was long winded and a bit aggressive. Still not too bad but instantly made me less inclined to buy the car from them when he said things "I can't run a dealership like this". I explained where I was getting my numbers from and they listened and acknowledged that I wasn't saying anything unreasonable. Eventually we parted ways on $500, although they called me the day after agreeing to my offer. Unfortunately, I wanted to explore some other deals and walked away. If not for Danny's games I would've made the deal on the spot, but it is what it is. I'm not against coming here in the future. If you want a mazda and a great salesman, go here and ask for Wayne. I went to purchase a Mazda 3 iTouring a few weeks ago. I went in initially for a test drive and went through a preliminary negotiation. I came back on Saturday and worked with a different salesperson, Joe C went in initially for a test drive and went through a preliminary negotiation. I came back on Saturday and worked with a different salesperson, Joe Castoldi who was great. He was low pressure, and tried to keep the back and forth to a minimum, which I appreciated. The finance guy Sal was great as well. We ran into an issue with the registration for some reason but it was resolved and I don't consider it to be the fault of the dealership. I would recommend Wellesley Mazda over its competitors in Mass. More
