Dear Ahura, I am deeply sorry that you felt that you were not fairly treated. Customer service is our priority. We want our customers to be so happy that they continue to come back. I do not want you to feel that you were swindled. The business manager is required by law to present these additional options to you at the time of pick up. The warranty is not a scam, we would be operating unethically if we chose to scam our customers. When you cancel, the reimbursement for the warranty is issued to the lien holder, which goes to principle on your loan. That is why your amount financed decreased, hence decreasing total payment amount. The reason your monthly payment didn't change is because of the contracts that illustrated the terms with the bank. So, decreasing the total amount financed decreases the total amount financed and total interest. Although that does seem confusing, and I hope I am explaining it in a way that makes the most sense, we would never put you in a situation where you would be scammed. We are in the business of people, and we are in our fourth generation and 86th year and we understand that in order to achieve longevity our relationships are everything to us. Again, I am deeply sorry that a communication error made you feel otherwise and I hope you take to heart my word.
