The service tech lied to us about the service needed for our 2015 Accord. Told us we needed a new converter because our starter was grinding and the only way to fix it was to change both the starter and and our 2015 Accord. Told us we needed a new converter because our starter was grinding and the only way to fix it was to change both the starter and and the converter. For the sum of $4500 Find out that Honda Document 16-002, that this is a KNOWN issue and how to fix it. The starter and gasket does need to be fixed but the converter just need to be turned clockwise one turn and that will fix the problem. Actual cost to fix is actually around $1300.. My speculation is that they were trying to dupe us to trade in our car to get a new car. SHAME ON YOUR WEIR HONDA! More
