SERVICE DEPARTMENT REVIEW Seems like when there is a problem with the car it takes 2 times to actually fix it. Will no longer use their service department or buy vehicles from their dealership. Timelin problem with the car it takes 2 times to actually fix it. Will no longer use their service department or buy vehicles from their dealership. Timeline of 2 problems with the car: 1. September 26, 2024- appointment for check engine light. At Weber from 9-26-24 to 10-1-2024-repairs $4,000 to $5,000. October 8, 2024- appointment for check engine light again. 2. February 20, 2025-heater blowing cold air. Message: Engine overheating, pull over let engine idle. Weber said don't drive. Car towed to Weber. (Changed coolant water oulet) March 28, 2025- coolant thermostat fluctuating from cold to hot-redlined. Called weber made an appointment for April 1, 2025. Was told to drop by on March 28th so they could use reader. Said no codes, okay to drive. March 31, 2025-coolant thermostat jumping all over. Message-engine overheating let idle. Redlined. Had to pull over twice to let engine idle. Had car towed once again to Weber. Waterpump replaced. More

I've been using WeberChevtrolet inGranite City, IL to maintain my old 20078 Malibu. When the Malibu developed serious problems that would have been too expensive to repair on an old car I stuck with Web maintain my old 20078 Malibu. When the Malibu developed serious problems that would have been too expensive to repair on an old car I stuck with Weber to find a replacement. The mechanic I talked to ( sorry don't recall his name but he was good too) referred me to Jason Haug, a sales consultant. I found a Trax in their online inventory listing and voiced my interest in it. When I arrived later that afternoon Hason had the car spiffed up and waiting for me. I was able to take a test drive and decided I didn't need to look at anything else. Jason had told me that his day would end at 7pm, but the paperwork with the finance, Will Parker, took longer and I wasn't done until 8pm. Will was kind, patient, and very professional as I did an all cash purchase. Jason stayed until I was ready to leave to congratulate me and see me off. He even offered to answer any questions I might have had in the future. I intend to continue to have this Trax serviced at Weber's Granite City shop. I felt like they were honest, gave me a pretty good deal on a really nice car, and treated me like a valued customer. Anyone needing a new or used vehicle should Check Weber Chevrolet in Granite City out. More
