We live in Tucson, AZ. We found a 2024 Blazer that matched our criteria from the Chevy website inventory option so decided to purchase from them. Unlike other dealerships We found a 2024 Blazer that matched our criteria from the Chevy website inventory option so decided to purchase from them. Unlike other dealerships we have dealt with in the past, they have no delivery policy, so I flew out to drive the car home (1,500 miles) which was fine. However, we requested ahead of time to please be ready to sign all documents as we needed to get on the road with a long drive ahead of us. It still took two hours to complete the process. In addition, Joe told us we would have to wait for title if we paid with a personal check, that a cashier’s check was better. When I got to the finance lady (which I do not see on the list of employees shown here), she told me they would be waiting for funds to clear regardless. I would have happily wired funds ahead of time but no one informed me they would hold funds on a cashier’s check instead of calling our bank to verify funds. Offputting. So much for wasting my time to get a cashier’s check. The finance lady was also very strange- she felt the need to lecture me on smart consumer purchasing practices which I found quite offensive as her job was to accept the money, get signatures and move me along quickly. In addition, she is not a personal friend and made many improper assumptions in speaking as she did. Inappropriate. I don’t know why they hold you at the dealership so long. Even after giving a heads up several times that we needed to get on the road, it took over two hours. Why? What are they doing behind the scenes that they need to hold you there so long? Anyway, Joe was a delight to work with, even if he was a bit chatty. =P More
