Finance Blew the Deal with a Repeat Buyer Wanted to trade our gently used Trax in for a larger car—the Equinox. Explained to the salesman, who was great, that we are repeat customers and had Wanted to trade our gently used Trax in for a larger car—the Equinox. Explained to the salesman, who was great, that we are repeat customers and had plans to purchase two $30k plus vehicles in the next six months. We made the deal on a well equipped 2019 Equinox and went to the finance department. We are well qualified buyers and have never been treated so poorly! The gentleman yells across the showroom (on more than one occasion) floor that out credit is frozen there is nothing he could do. I walked over to him and showed him that I had just unfroze my information. Another finance individual had to explain to our finance guy to re-run again. He then corners my wife that her credit is frozen. In steps the other finance guy, again, and we decided to run it just on my credit. Wow! 8.9% for a well qualified buyer? He then asks me for my social and runs it through three more separate banks. Now I have four hard inquiries and am getting fraud messages from Equifax. Finally, he tells me he can buy down the interest rate and has me at 5.4%. I was PO’d at this point and left. In my experience negotiations always occur with the salesman never the finance department. Will NEVER go back... More

2013 Chevy Suburban Very happy with Weber Chevrolet. Bought a used 2013 Chevy Suburban and within a week the check engine light came on and started acting very strange. I Very happy with Weber Chevrolet. Bought a used 2013 Chevy Suburban and within a week the check engine light came on and started acting very strange. I took a video of the car and sent it to my salesman, three weeks after the contract has been signed. Without hesitation, he gave me a loaner to drive (it was a brand new truck too) and did all of the repairs to the Suburban. Tim Gilbert was my salesman and he made sure I was a happy customer, no matter how big of a pain I was. Highly recommend not only Weber Chevrolet, but also Tim Gilbert. More
