I like the people that work there. They are always friendly. However, I am really disappointed on the cost of repairs!! I have a 2007 Hyundai Accent and I have no choice but to keep it They are always friendly. However, I am really disappointed on the cost of repairs!! I have a 2007 Hyundai Accent and I have no choice but to keep it in good running condition! When I brought it in for an oil change, they discovered my right front axle was leaking grease. They gave me an estimate of $1244.00 to fix it!! They were going to charge me 4-5 hours labor plus parts!! I had my nephew fix it for $100.00 (for the part) and a batch of homemade fudge!!! And it took him less than 1 hour to do the repair!!!! I feel sorry for people that don't have a nephew that can do repairs and have to rely on the dealership to do repairs! I understand the need to make money, but this was way over what should have been charged for this repair!!!! More

I left with intention of rescheduling on a different day. I showed up on Friday for a 2:45 'appointment' at 2;40, my car got pulled in at 3:00 @ 4:20, I inquired about my car, I was told the technician was preparing a quote for other services, I said no need because I wasn't having any other services done today. I complained about the wait time, and received the same dismissive statement, 'you made an appointment not a reservation '. To which I replied, I hate that you all say that. I had maintenance included in my purchase package, and regret that decision every time I interact with the service department. More
I had my 2024 Palisade in for its first service and to install the roof rack( that was still in the box from the dealer).I Picked up the vehicle 3 hours later and noticed the roof rack was deeply scratche install the roof rack( that was still in the box from the dealer).I Picked up the vehicle 3 hours later and noticed the roof rack was deeply scratched as if it was 20 years old and used every day. I called the service department and was told someone would call me in a day or so. After 2 days of not hearing from anyone, I called back and was told it was the porter’s that installed the roof rack and had to speak to a sales manager. After all was said and done no one could explain how or why the roof rack was so severely damaged I was just told to bring it back and they will change it out. So now I have to take more time off work to go sit and wait for them to fix what they broke. I am not 100% satisfied, the damage is obvious and they delivered it to me with the damage. That is very unprofessional. More

I am glad I brought my car to Hyundai for repairs. The process was a little slow but they took their time and the engine and starter were replaced without any issues. Service writer was friendly and listened to my concerns. The service manager kept me informed and my vehicle was returned in 3 weeks like I was quoted. Parts were on backorder. The service dept is the worst, will never have work done at Webb Hyundai Merrillville again. I was told my passenger side side view mirror was ready to be installed. I drove 30 miles each way only to be told it needed to be painted before it could be installed.
