Just had my car serviced and am VERY satisfied with the service. I am surprised anyone complains about rude or unfriendly Hyundai employees - they were all so busy today I could hardly believe it, yet EVER service. The service association Lisa is always so mean and rude. Does not help at all. I genuinely think she’s mean to me because she doesn’t like me. My Hyundai Tucson broke down on I-94 and I had it towed to Webb Hyundai in Highland, IN. My wife and I were travelling to O'Hare on a Saturday afternoon when our Hyundai Tucson broke down on I-94. I had the car towed to Webb Hyundai in Highland, IN. Although the Service Department was closed closed, I related my problem to Conrad who took the time to search out Shane Billings who was able to help be complete the "after hours" paperwork for the Service Department. When I explained to Shane, that we still needed to get to our Hotel at O'Hare Airport, Shane replied that he lived in Rosemont and would gladly drop us off after his shift was finished. Long story short, Shane drove my wife and I (and ALL OUR LUGGAGE for a two week trip to Scotland) to the Airport (45 min. away) and dropped us off in front of our hotel. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Shane and his generosity. It is indeed refreshing to know that some people still understand the meaning of the word service. More
They were quick with their work but left grease stains inside my car. Seems like a couple of them were in it because there were grease stains on the passenger door also. I have a leased vehicle that I got in June 2021 so any oil changes or repairs, I go through the dealership. I pay the extra monthly maintenance cost for minor repairs. I made an appointment and waited in the dealership for 2 hours for my vehicle. After a few days I noticed they didn’t reset my car so my service warning stayed on until my next service. I chalked it up to maybe they’re busy, this was my first experience and I’m not one to judge after one experience. However, I had a minor windshield crack from a pebble on the highway and scheduled a 3:00 appointment at the dealership for the repair. I asked multiple times for an update on my car since I sat around with nothing happening. I was told “I will find out for you” but I was not updated. I asked the guy helping me in the service area a few times. I finally got an update at 4:15 that the window guy was on his way. He arrived at 4:30 and the guy in service told it would take him about 20 minutes. It looked like he finished around 5:30, an hour later. By 6:15 I asked if I could have my car back. The girl in the service area said she didn’t know I was there waiting. It didn’t look like the original guy was around anymore. I didn’t get paperwork to show the details or report about this. I noticed right away that the crack isn’t completely gone. 3 hours and 15 minutes! I’m just hopeful it’s good for winter and I’ll be looking for a car sooner than later from another car company. This is beyond frustrating. I just find it rude and unprofessional at this point to make appointments and not have reasonably timed service. My time is valuable and clearly not respected. More
