I would love to elaborate on my experience. I have an 800 credit score so I was expecting a low interest rate. He said I'd get a 5.9% from Hyundai or a 3.5% but that would include an extended warranty. I didn't want the extended warranty. One of the reasons I went with Hyundai was because of the 5 year/60,000 mile. So not only did I get the extended warranty, I paid $2,000 over MSRP. I get the market but I know I could have done better but agreed on over MSRP. But to add the warranty that I didn't want on terms that I don't think are right. I said I could get a 1.9 from Bank of America and he said we don't deal with them?. The car is for my 19 year old daughter who was with me at the time. I suppose I should have set up finance before I came but I wanted to finance with Hyundai. I just don't think he was honest with me. As for the salesman, I liked her but she told me I had to come to a Hyundai dealer to get the car fixed under warranty and she was incorrect about an app that she said we could get. I'm a teacher in Valpo who makes a modest living and wanted to do something for my daughter. I just don't think I was treated in an honest manner.
