My initial interactions when checking my car in were positive. Everyone seemed nice and friendly. I appreciate that they could take my car in on the day I called, within that hour, so that was really he positive. Everyone seemed nice and friendly. The things I didn't like are as follows: - When I called to ask clarifying questions about the services recommended for my car, the representative had an impatient tone with me that I didn't appreciate. - The prices for service were very high. - I was not updated about when my car might be ready. - I was not notified when my car was ready to be picked up. - After verbal agreement of getting the 3rd service rather than just two, I did not receive an updated document to sign off on the 3rd service. The service advisor Josh Campbell was great. Aside from Josh, I left the service center feeling like I wasted my time because I am unable to tell if anything was done by mechanics to rectify the Aside from Josh, I left the service center feeling like I wasted my time because I am unable to tell if anything was done by mechanics to rectify the problem that previously occurred with my vehicle. On Saturday, April 13th my breaks were not fully functional while I was driving and could not come to a full stop. I received an alert that read "Break System Failure 62 MPH Top Speed". This situation was extremely scary and could have possibly caused a major accident. Please also note this is now my 4th vehicle alert/warning received within a year of purchasing a 80k + vehicle. From the information gathered from the provided report, it appears the mechanics determined that an after market device plugged into the "aldi" may be a factor. Please note the "after market device" is simply a dashcam to help prevent theft to the vehicle. Most importantly, please note the warning alerts "Service Steering Column Lock", "Service Traction Control", and "Forward Collision System Unavailable" all occurred prior to me purchasing the "after market device" aka dash cam. In closing, I felt like my scary and extremely dangerous situation wasn't taken seriously. I just hope and pray my breaks don't go out again and was later discovered the mechanics didn't properly evaluate my vehicle. More
