I am livid. All that is wrong with General Motors can be summed up by rogue dealers like Webb Chevy. I have never before as an adult been lied to in such a bold face mannor. Repairs that are quoted as 2-3 h summed up by rogue dealers like Webb Chevy. I have never before as an adult been lied to in such a bold face mannor. Repairs that are quoted as 2-3 hours are not even STARTED untill the car has been there twice that long. I, myself, more than once, was told a repair would be completed in an hour or two only to be told after an four hour wait that the parts needed were not there. And then they act like they are doing you a favor! More
I would like to say first that I'm a fan of chevy cars and trucks [vans] I believe in your product. I have owned 8 chevy vans since 1991,I own a small business that puts me on the road,all over this count and trucks [vans] I believe in your product. I have owned 8 chevy vans since 1991,I own a small business that puts me on the road,all over this country and Canada,over 200 days a year. I went into Webb chevy looking for a small car for my son. We spoke with Miguel Zamora several times during our conversations I told him that I wanted a price out the door that included ALL charges, we agreed on a price $13000 that we were told included All charges. Miguel then went to his supervisor to confirm the deal. The car was a 2010 chevy aveo, Miguel came back and said the deal was confirmed,we asked again "13000 out the door all charges included" Miguel said yes. My son is just starting out so I was co-signing for him. We paid a small amount 100 dollars it was Saturday so we agreed to fill out some papers and come back on Monday to fill out papers for a loan and put down an additional 6000. Over that period of time I decided to lend my son the rest of the money to buy the car. We returned to Webb chevy on Monday and I still find it hard to believe what happened next Miguel escorted us to John Poupa's office. I told him that we were going to buy the car out right. Thinking that we owed 12900 I was out raged to find out that he was saying we owed about 3300 more. Miguel entered the office I said "Miguel this is 13000 out the door right" he said yes. John Poupa said no and he left the room to bring back a supervisor, I knew what he was going to say before he said it"there's been a misunderstanding" no one here ever authorized such a deal. My wife thenasked what exactly does "out the door" meanShe did not receive an answer. I then told the supervisor that I always abide by my word and said I felt like giving him a smack. They still insisted that the price did not include the taxes and the 5 year extended warranty that the salesman assured me was included in the 13,000 price. My wife asked what was the price to get this matter over with and was told $1300. While disagreeing with my wife she told them to put the $1300 on her Visa. Then the supervisor and John Poupa left the room. After another 20 or so minutes Jerry Roberts enters the room throws the two checks and the Visa card at me and states Congratulations you just bought yourself a car he stated he would not take the Visa card said he wanted cash only and because he felt I threatened his employee to get out of his office. My wife stepped between us. I left to go outside. My wife's impression was that if we couldn't come up with the additional $1300 he was going to put the loan through in my name. Unbeknownst to me my wife had cash with her from the bank for bills She told Jerry Roberts here is the money, she said he was shocked. He Left the room with the money. After another 20 or so minutes he returned with a receipt for the money. Knowing my son is a teacher, he stated he was going to teach him a lesson. My wife stated yes, to never take anybody at their word and to see how dealers scam people. Jerry Roberts stated we were the ones trying to scam them. How insulting, all we wanted to do was get my son the latest addition to our Chevy lineup. While leaving, Jerry Roberts Made an obscene gesture to my 15 year old daughter I returned the gesture. By the way at the same time we were there a female customer was also there yelling at the salesman "Don't pull that crap on me and also other profanities.So I'm sure they have done this to other customers. My wife and I drove from Glenview, Illinois last night to see a car at Webb Chevrolet in Oak Lawn that we had found online. It was a long trip but the attention and honest service we received at Webb made it exceptionlly worth while! Tim Enzenbacher saw us drive up. He came outside with a friendly smile to escort us in - warm and welcome hospitality all the way. We wanted to see a 2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV that as already in the showroom. We were picky with a thousand questions. Tim was ever attentive and made sure we got the correct answer to everything we asked. When he wasn't sure he brought in Paul Woodie. Paul was another exceptional resource - never impatient, knowlegeable, and always super friendly. Even when he wasn't sure however, he went to the owners manual and other documents to be certain we were always given accurate and impecably ethical information. We drove the car, we liked the car, and we were especially favorably impressed with the treatment we were recieving from both Tim and Paul. We have been to other dealerships, but everything at Webb was so perfect. We wanted the car, but we couldn't quite afford the price. Tim and Paul helped us out there too - again always being straigthtforward, honest, and ethical! Jane and I would go back to Webb Chevy; we would recommend it to anyone. I was in the market for a new truck. Super simple website to use and found what I was looking for right away. I needed to get a quote for the Silverado I was interested in buying to crunch the numbers for my budget. Filled out information for request a quote and sent it on its way. I had done this type of vehicle research in the past and it didn't go so good for me. I just never felt that any of the quotes I sent to other dealers were quick enough at responding so I just gave up and lost interest with them. Nope not with Webb Chevrolet they were super fast with quote response and I got my quote for the Silverado right away. Very good descriptive e-mail with price and a link for me to view the Silverado again that I had chosen. There phone number and address was in the e-mail so I decided to give them a call regarding the truck I liked. I spoke with the operator and she transfered me to the internet department and I spoke with Nick. He set me up for a appointment to come in to take out the truck on a test drive to get a feel for its features and options plus to actually drive the truck. I went on the test drive with Al the sales guy there and it was great. When I got done with the test drive I knew exactly what I was getting and Al made me feel confident I was getting great value for my money. We then walked over to his desk and finished up the deal regarding the Silverado. I was in finance about 20 mins later finishing up the paper work with John forgot his last name but he was very nice and explained everything I needed to know. I will be going there again to purchase another vehicle and will tell friends and family to go there also. Ted More
I actually visited this dealership to help my sister purchase a new vehicle. I was driving a 03 tahoe with no intention to buy a new one. Lets just say 10 hours later me and my sister walked away with new vehicles-our trade in's were were paid off and most of all we were made happy without the akward feelings involved with purchasing a new vehicle. As far as our sales man Paul Woody i couldnt say more positive things about. I can personally say that i do not enjoy car shopping mostly due to pushy salseman. Paul gave us the facts with no run around. He knew what we were able to afford and worked very hard to get that for us. Paul followed up with us on a weekly basis making sure that we were happy and everything was going well with our new vehicles.
