I am actually in the car-shopping process. I have credit issues and went thru the 'Special Finance' department. They came up with a 22.9% APR. I did not mis-type. Fine- hey I can refinance later, right? BU issues and went thru the 'Special Finance' department. They came up with a 22.9% APR. I did not mis-type. Fine- hey I can refinance later, right? BUT.....they then tell me that they will be charged $3000. from the bank for giving me the loan. I REFUSE to believe that to be true and if it is.....they should NEVER do business with that bank. SO...they said they would have to raise the price of the car $1000. to make back some of that money. At this point I was frustrated with them but still held out some hope to make a deal. I lost my car in the recent flood so I wanted to make a purchase. Then they break down the monthly payments and something smelled. Their numbers (adding NJ sales tax and title and registrations) were significantly higher than what any online calculator INCLUDING THE ONE ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE came out to. (LOL- the finance manager then told me he never goes on their website- LOL.) It turns out that they added a $399. documentation fee AND a $399. BANK INQUIRE FEE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? So.....to summarize.....(1)the APR was bloated- to say the least- good or bad credit notwithstanding.....(2)they hiked the price of the vehicle saying the bank charges them thousands for getting a customer a loan and .....(3) they added nonsense fees including a fee for CALLING THE BANK to inquire about a loan. Draw your own conclusions. Note that the price -the ORIGINAL price- of the vehicle was quite fair and I have not yet purchased- still shopping- but they had better stop playing nasty with these bogus fees if they stand to earn my business or get a POSITIVE referral from me. The dealership building and the amount of cars is quite impressive, besides that probably nothing alse is. The sales rep and especially his manager got quite rude the minute we started talking about the n impressive, besides that probably nothing alse is. The sales rep and especially his manager got quite rude the minute we started talking about the numbers. I did my research and knew how much I could pay for the car, and I don't think what I was asking was rediculous. I knew that I could go up to $1000 below the invoice price and still get the 0% financing. They claimed I couldn't. They said that their price was way off from mine and that they wouldn't budge. I asked for a breakdown of the car cost as well as the fees and taxes probably twice to fully understand why the car price is more than $2000 higher than what we were quoted at a different dealer, but they kept changing the subject. They took my credit card when they apparently went to the regional manager for approval of what I offered , which they forgot to give back to me, I had to cancel the card which was a hassle. They accused the other dealership of lying and we were certain that we would be back. Well that wasn't the case. More
I will never go back to this store ever or tell anyone else to. They lie they cheat and they steal. They are rude and obnoxious and the state and government should seriously investigate them for fraud. else to. They lie they cheat and they steal. They are rude and obnoxious and the state and government should seriously investigate them for fraud. They are tell you one thing and do another. Thank goodness I read all of the documents they wanted me to sign. They really give car dealers a bad name. More
I first walked into Wayne Mazda back in May 2009. I was "just looking" at the Mazda CX9. Rob Rago immediately introduced himself to my Fiancee and I. Rob sat with us and listened to what we wanted in a vehicle and how much we were willing to pay. We walked out of there with a great vehicle at the price WE wanted to pay! Flash forward to the present... I had an routine service scheduled for my CX9 and brought it in to Wayne Mazda. The service department was fast and courteous. I walked over to the sales department to say hi to Rob, and 3 hours later walked out with a new 2010 Mazda3. Again, the car I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. Rob is fantastic, and extremely knowledgeable about the products he sells. He is a straight shooter and anyone that has bought a car before WILL appreciate dealing with him. More

I've only purchased or leased Fords my entire life. I liked the look of the Mazda CX7 and went in for a test drive. I loved it! Rob was extremely helpful and he knows his products. That made me feel v liked the look of the Mazda CX7 and went in for a test drive. I loved it! Rob was extremely helpful and he knows his products. That made me feel very comfortable with him. He went out of his way to deliver my new car quickly. He sat with me and explained how everything worked which I know is the norm, however, he took his time with me and he didn't make me feel rushed. I felt like he really cared about ME! I've already recommended Rob and Wayne Mazda to my boss - and he purchased the CX9 in March! I will continue to recommmend new customers to this dealership. More
I visited Wayne mazda to see if they could meet or beat other offers that I had received for comparable cars, including another Mazda dealer. I knew exactly what model car I wanted and which options I was other offers that I had received for comparable cars, including another Mazda dealer. I knew exactly what model car I wanted and which options I was interested in. I also knew what price I wanted to pay, including how much down and what monthly lease payment I could afford. After some give and take with the sales person and manager, we agreed on a deal. It was a virtually painless experience. More
Do not buy/lease a car from Wayne Mazda. I chose this dealership because it was convenient and the price was low. However, my overall experience with Wayne Mazda was awful. Some of my issues are as follo dealership because it was convenient and the price was low. However, my overall experience with Wayne Mazda was awful. Some of my issues are as follows: 1) negotiating via the internet, yet being introduced to a closer to complete the transaction, 2) having the closer sneakily shut off his computer when he was trying to manipulate the numbers (e.g. monthly payment) when visiting with his manager, 3) being told that the numbers, while higher than what my computer software stated, were accurate, 4) losing the plates to my trade-in and not returning my calls when I wanted an explanation and assistance, and 5) suggesting that they would have the police escort me out of the showroom if I arrived and demanded to see the general manager about this matter. (While I admit I was vocally angry at the time when I was threatened, I did not deserve to be treated the way that I was.) In addition, I was told that the district manager did not respond to the representative at Mazda USA with whom I spoke to about the above matter. I like the car, but hate the overall experience. More
Before my arrival at Wayne Mazda I viewed their website. I felt it was one of the best of the car websites I had viewed in the past. Kudos to the website people at Wayne Honda..The individual cars for sale I felt it was one of the best of the car websites I had viewed in the past. Kudos to the website people at Wayne Honda..The individual cars for sale had in depth photos and videos. So you knew exactly what to expect once you visit. I have to give without a doubt a 5+ rating in all areas of the Wayne Mazda Dealership in Wayne NJ..This includes.. overall attractiveness, cleanliness and especially Quick service. I was extremely impressed from my first call to Christina to inquire about availability of used Mazda autos with sunroof.. I especially liked the idea of lock boxes on the individual cars, which I had never seen before. It saves time for the salesman to run and get the keys which leaves the customer waiting and waiting as with other dealerships. It was certainly worth the 1.5 hr trip from Pennsylvania to get to the Dealership. Outstanding job by Mazda Salesman Ash Choudhury. Thank you so very much Ash !! He seemed to be on top of things and knew his stuff. He was pleasant, friendly and enthusiastic. I saw how he literally ran throughout all offices, up and down stairs etc. to get my cash transaction done in a timely manner..These are the types of people I enjoy dealing with in any type of high cost transaction. He is certainly a keeper and should be considered most valuable. At first I was looking at a used silver Mazda 3 with a sunroof, but Ash found a black Mazda 3 w/sunroof on the lot which just came in. He made my Mazda dream come true!! This was the exact car I desired ! This review may seem very long, but I was totally in awe of everyone at this dealership. Oh, and YES !! I would come back again in the future. More
I have 2 children under the age of 2. I've been planning on buying a used mini van for the past 6 months. I test drove pretty much every van out today and was ready to buy a 2006 Honda Oddysey or a Nissan on buying a used mini van for the past 6 months. I test drove pretty much every van out today and was ready to buy a 2006 Honda Oddysey or a Nissan Quest. I stumbled on the Mazda5 and found a used 2009 Mazda5 at Wayne Mazda, which was no longer available. I did a lot of research on the Mazda5 it - has really good reviews so I decided to take a test drive on a new 2010 Mazda5 in a 5 speed manual. My sales consultant was Robert Rago, I have nothing but good things to say about him. He was freindly, extremely knowledgeable honest and straight forward. Most important, he was not pushy. It was a difficult decision as I wanted the 5 speed manual and my wife wanted the automatic - I asked him if could NOT push the car on my wife. He just showed her the features of the car and took her for a test drive on both transmissions. She made the decision on her own and chose the 5 speed manual as it is a very easy and fun car to drive. It doesn't feel like a mini van at all. I really wasn't planning on buying the car right away, but Robert Rago was very helpful and honest - he gave me the number I was looking for and purchased the Mazda5. My financial guy was very nice too. I highly recommend Robert and Wayne Mazda. Easy car buying experience. two thumbs up for Robert and the guys at Wayne Mazda. I've owned 7 BMW's in the past 10 years. This is my first Mazda and we're loving our "mini min van". Maxon Mazda is less than a mile away and I went to Wayne Mazda - I'm glad I did. More
