My overall experience at the Mazda of Wayne has been very unpleasant. I first walked into the dealership after finding a good quote for a new Mazda3, on their website. Touted as "The Largest Mazda Dealership In The World", I eagerly drove there, hoping that i will be treated to excellent customer service. Instead, the men there are nonchalant and only care about closing a deal. They do not try to showcase the features of the car, and when I express interest in anything, they shuffle me around from one salesperson to another. Fortunately, I have already researched the features of my Mazda3, so I quickly try to negotiate for a deal, much to their liking. We sign some preliminary paperwork and they assure me that the car will be ready within three days, and that I will be able to sign off my car at that time. Two weeks later, I get a call from them saying my car is ready. I walk into the dealership to sign the contract, but all they tout are their "extended warranties." Two hours of persuading later, I walk out to see my Mazda3. We drove off, thinking that this would be the last of Wayne. The next day, we discovered that there's a gash in the leather seat, and the front passenger side window does not function. We take it back to the dealership, and they apologize profusely, saying the problems would be fixed within a few a days. A week later, they call me back in, and we test the car. The gash is gone, but the front passenger side window still does not function! They again, apologize profusely, and say the car will be fixed in four days. Wayne of Mazda is perhaps the worst dealership experience possible. There cannot be a dealership more incapable of good service, more inclined to bad quality, and more ignorant of consumer desires. If you want good customer service for a good quality vehicle, do not come here; this place is horrible and i will never recommend this dealership. More
My Mom and I purchased our first Mazda on 6/5/10. From the time we walked into the dealership to the time we left, the service was top notch. Mr. Arthur David was an excellent salesman. It was a very Hot day and he had to do a lot of walking to find the cherry black car we finally agreed on. He remained cool around the collar and was very patient and friendly clear up to the completing of the paperwork. He was very knowledgable and had a good sense of humor. I will definitely refer people to Wayne Mazda in the future. Keep up the good work! More
I dealt with Robert Rago when purchasing a new Mazda 3 for my wife. Rob was helpful along the way but more important he seems like a no-nonsense kind of guy and that's the kind of deal I got working with for my wife. We quickly agreed on price and he didn't try to sell me anything I wasn't looking for. I would recommend Wayne Mazda and Rob. I would also like to add a comment about the negative reviews below about financing through Wayne Mazda and their service. I was approved before I left the dealer and would have left right then with the new car if they didn't have to order a special color. But still, I went in Friday and by Monday I had car with my color choice. More
I would like to follow up on my past comments posted a few weeks ago. I have had the pleasure of getting a Mazda 3 grand touring from Ramsey Mazda after being given the run around from Wayne. I got the car I wanted and more from a much more deserving dealership. Junior Ortiz hung up the phone on me a couple weeks ago when I was speaking to him and requested to speak to his manager or the GM of Wayne Mazda. This was also after "Junior" called me back asking if I was coming in to get the car. I was also told by "Junior" that I was STUPID for waiting for him for 30 minutes the night he first told me to come in and pick up my car. I really did not like the service I got from this ORGANIZATION (if they can truly be called an organization.) The disorganization in this place in unbearable. I called for over 2 weeks asking for a manager or the General Manager to get back to me. I know there had to be someone in charge there, but no one got back to me! I am still communicating with the Corporate offices of Mazda, out of California, and am going to be sure to lower the scoring for the #1 Mazda Dealership in the Nation (that was on the recording while I was placed on hold). I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. IF THIS IS HOW SALES IS, I COULD ONLY IMAGING HOW SERVICE IS ALSO. WAYNE MAZDA IS GARBAGE I WOULD GO ALL THE WAY TO RAMSEY ANY DAY TO GET THE BEST SALE FROM THE MOST HUMBLE DEALERSHIP IN NJ! More
In my recent search for a new car, I decided to take a look at the Mazda 3. When we entered the showroom, the first thing we encountered was a desk with at least four salesmen standing around. None of them ambushed us, however, which was nice, so we were pretty happy at that point. When we finally were approached, it was by the quintessential example of the sleazy, high-pressure car salesman. Yuck. To the manager whose idea of customer service was to make us feel as though we should consider ourselves privileged to be in his dealership...the sales books may tell you to demonstrate that you are in control of the deal right out of the box...but because of you, Ramsey Mazda got the credit for my sale today. I bought 4 cars from Wayne. Last 3 cars I bought from Ash beacuse he is the best sales man I have ever met. He is straight,simple,easy to talk and deal. I know other sales men who are good but Ash is the bes beacuse he is the best sales man I have ever met. He is straight,simple,easy to talk and deal. I heard of the dealer through a friend and told me that they had alot of internet specials. I called and a sales person asked me what model i was interested in. I came in knowing I wanted a Mazda 3i touring with the Bose package. I had shopped around to several Mazda dealerships in NJ and PA and knew what I wanted to pay, as well as the current price range. I had a great experience at Wayne Mazda. The salesperson Jason D. was friendly and professional. This wasn't your average car buying experience. Everyone treated me like I was part of the family. Any model Mazda you can imagine was available. Bassam the finance manager was also great. He was very knowledgable and explained the financial part of the transaction thoroughly. Overall it was a wonderful buying experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone purchasing a new or used vehicle. More
