Hi Edgar, It was nice meeting you and your friends on Saturday, March 31 St. Your review mentions that it was a rainy Saturday afternoon. I remember that day as being partly cloudy. Oh well,I guess it doesn't really matter what the weather was like that day. I not sure why you even mention John Pujols in this review, as he never spoke or had any interaction with you. I guess you remember things a little bit differently than they occurred.. And that's ok... Ok..It's time to tell the world about our story: Edgar emailed me on 3/16/2012 with an offer for a 2011 Mazda CX7. His offer was $ 17,000 dollars for a CX7 that has a list price of 25,400. I had Jessie, our Sales assistant, email him back to let Edgar know that his offer was too low and we had no deal at this price. Edgar then emailed back with a counter offer of $18,000 dollars.... Again I had Jessie email Edgar and let him know that his offer was still too low... Jessie then received an email from Edgar the same day asking her what his fees would be if he bought the car..Jessie emailed him a break down of the government and dealer fees.. I also spoke to Edgar the same day and about his offer of $18,000 for the CX7 and told him for the second time that his offer is way too low and I would not sell him the Cx7 for his price. Our conversation also included the break down of government and dealer fees..... Jessie and Edgar exchanged emails back and forth the following week and on March 2, Edgar and I agreed on a higher price for the CX7. Edgar was away on business and told Jessie that he will contact her when he is back in NJ. An appointment was made with Edgar for the last Saturday of the month..I remember that day like it was yesterday..Franklin was assigned to show Edgar his CX7 just to make sure that it's the same car we spoke about 2 weeks prior.Edgar saw the car and everything was going great, the sales order was filled out with the price Edgar and I agreed upon.. Everything came to an abrupt stop when Franklin mentioned the dealer fees... Franklin comes over to me and tells me that I never told him what the dealer fees were...and I better come over and speak to Edgar ASAP. I grabbed all OF my notes and went over to speak to Edgar.. I showed Edgar all the notes and emails that confirm that the cost of the fees were addressed 2 weeks prior. No one tried to charge you anything that was not allready reviewed and explained to you.. You just simply chose not to pay the fees. I am not really sure why you think I am perpetuating a car salesman stigma, since everything was disclosed to you 2 weeks prior.. Edgar is still a great guy and I am sure he is a great Real Estate agent.. I would recommend him to a friend.. Thanks for your feedback even though it was negative and unwarranted.
