After being lied to we stormed out of there and drove to Wayne Hyundai. We were introduced to Rick Klein and told him we were interested in a Tucson Ultimate. We took the car for a test drive and decided to purchase. Rick was great throughout the entire process and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. We didn't feel pressured and you could tell that he believed in the product that he was selling. I would highly recommend Wayne Hyundai, especially Rick. More

First, the good: the salesman (Jeff) was friendly and the general sales manager (Ray) did follow up with me when I expressed concern about my experience buying a new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate 2.0T. Three stars for that. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to my expectations. I was buying the car from a distance, so I relied on the dealership to accurately represent details about the car, like the mileage. The CarFax report shows that the vehicle had 6 miles on it on 8/13/2019 when it underwent a "pre-delivery inspection." This makes sense, as the car was brand new. On the day I left a deposit, 8/21/2019, Jeff represented that it had 10 miles on it, and the purchase order memorialized that same mileage (10). When I went to actually take delivery of the car on 8/24/2019, it suddenly had 54 miles on it, more than five times what Jeff had misrepresented and nine times the mileage it had just 11 days earlier per the CarFax. The dealership suggested that the car had been test driven, taken to get gas, etc., and that's why it had extra mileage. But on reflection, this is hard to believe. And the car already has electrical and mechanical issues in just 2 days of driving it. It has stalled twice and seems to have an electrical issue with the power liftgate. What bothered me further is that the car was not thoroughly cleaned -- it had lots of fingerprints, a large dirt mark on the side of the vehicle, and some weird residue covering much of the interior. Jeff said that was from the preparation they do to make the car look shinier and it would come out with soap and water. All of these things seem to come out with soap and water (even the dirt on the outside), but it's disappointing to have to thoroughly wash a brand new vehicle myself. I did speak to Ray, the general sales manager, who agreed he would take the car back but had no similar vehicle to do an exchange and I can't be without a car. Also I have a disability and may not be able to handle the long drive back to NJ just a few days after buying the car. Plus I'm not sure it's safe to drive. Ray also said he would detail the car again if I came back to NJ, but this presents the same logistical issues (whether it's safe to drive, etc). More

This is the second vehicle I have leased with this dealership and I'm sure I'll be coming back when I need another one. I'll be looking for Rick again. More

I have been driving a competitors for the last 25 years and never thought I would change. I went in to the dealership to look at a possible trade to downsize to a smaller SUV then the one I had. There was absolutely no pressure from Rick. He showed me the model I came in for and as we test drove it we realized it was to small for what I was looking for. We then test drove a Tucson that was just what I was looking for. He never pressured me into buying the car and even though I was upside down on my other car I came out paying less then what I originally planned. The whole experience at this dealership was top notch and I could not have asked for a better. More

I decided to "lease" the vehicle with the "option to buy", after 3 years. I always purchased my 3 other vehicles, but with Rick's help, we discussed, at length, the #s and it absolutely made sense for me to lease now and buy later.
