Fernando was extremely informative and helpful in his explanation of the new car. He was patient and answered all our questions in a way that was easy to understand. We would definitely recommand this dealership to people in the future. We feel Fernando was the best car salesman we have had in a long time. He is an asset to this dealership. More
I was just looking but ended up buying. I went there to look at used Sonatas and bought a new one. Since I just got home from the dealership minutes ago, I cannot speak about my long term relationship wit look at used Sonatas and bought a new one. Since I just got home from the dealership minutes ago, I cannot speak about my long term relationship with Wayne Hyundai. We'll see. However, today, I had a pleasant experience. No pressure. Great terms. I think I got a good deal. I just rechecked Consumer Reports and can confirm I got a very good deal. I also must argue CR's statement about road noise. So far, not so and my ride home was 100% highway. Great trade-in on my 1999 Infiniti. Fernando was gracious and accommodating. Except for giving me the car for free, what more could I ask of a car dealership? More
I intially wasn't looking for a new car but the pressure of my family to get new wheels under me tickled my intrest. I owned a Hyundai Elantra and after looking at the new Elantra I changed my mind. I walke of my family to get new wheels under me tickled my intrest. I owned a Hyundai Elantra and after looking at the new Elantra I changed my mind. I walked into Wayne Hyundai and was immediatley greeted by the sales person Hector. We sat down and we discussed my ultimate goal. I expressed to him that I was not buying today. However, after the test drive I changed my mind. We worked out the final numbers, he gave me fair value for my trade and a great deal on his car. Two hours later I drove home with my new 2011 Elantra. The atmosphere of the dealer was very calm and relaxing. No pressure and pure friendliness. Over all, GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Thanks Wayne Hyundai!! I walked in there on a Saturday (last Saturday of March) and stood around for 2 minutes and the guy who was free to help me was sleeping! I had called earlier to arrange a test drive and the woman was very and stood around for 2 minutes and the guy who was free to help me was sleeping! I had called earlier to arrange a test drive and the woman was very pleasant and never told me I had to be willing to buy a car in order to test drive. I spoke to John for several minutes about my interests in either the Elantra or Sonata, and then he asked me about whether I was planning to buy that day. I gave him the honest answer and he said he could only let me test drive one of the two cars for my research, so I picked the Elantra. He said he would "check" if he had any Elantra's available and he disappeared for at LEAST 10 minutes if not more. I could overhear him complaining to his buddies in the corner about how he did not want do the test drive since it was for research only and would be wasting his time. His supervisor came back and asked me bluntly if I was going to buy a car today or in the next three days, and I said no. And he said I needed to come back during the week or on a Saturday that was not at the end of the month, so I angrily got up and left. In the time he got up to complain with his buddies, he could have gone with me to test drive the car and come back and laid the foundation for a sale in the future. As it is now, I will not go back to this dealership again. I live 8 miles away and spent the 45 minutes round-trip driving to test drive a car and did not get to do that. I understand their point of view about end-of-the-month sales, but they went about telling me all the wrong way and they could have helped me in the time they were discussing the situation. The sales guy was SLEEPING when I came in so how busy could he have been?! At least he could have done something positive to help himself in the future, whereas now he has no chance! More
We had some trouble with this dealership and the salesman. Some big mistakes occured and we were very put out. But in the end they were commited to doing the right thing and did everything in their salesman. Some big mistakes occured and we were very put out. Stopped at this dealer on 1/4/10. Parked and began to walk around the lot. I was in the lot for over 10, possibly 15 minutes and no one greeted me. After several minutes of waiting, a restroom stop, and several more minutes of waiting no one asked me if I needed any help. It should be noted there appeared to be plenty of salespeople in the showroom but no one could be bothered to even say hello. This was in the middle of the afternoon no less. A waste of a visit. More
It was a extremely frustrating experience. The manager used every possible dirty trick in selling cars. Did not honor the zag.com price and every time I thought I was close to making a deal he came back w used every possible dirty trick in selling cars. Did not honor the zag.com price and every time I thought I was close to making a deal he came back with something else. Eventually when we agreed ona price and I signed the paperwork and handed over the check he came back telling that the person who preps the car has left and I should leave a deposit and come back next day to pick the car. At this point I got disgusted and left. Also I had to wait for hours. More
Told me price of car. Seemed to good to be true. When I went to look at car 1 hour later told me it was sold and price was only for cars in stock.. Of course no other car like this in stock. So price could went to look at car 1 hour later told me it was sold and price was only for cars in stock.. Of course no other car like this in stock. So price could not be honored. Classic bait and switch . Asked to speak to manager. Also said he could not honor quoted price. Very sleezy dealer. More
i bought a new 2010 elantra a few weeks ago. Kevin Dean the salesman was excellent. everything was explained and i got an amazing price (i went to cars.com and got a price that was $3000 below MSRP b/c it the salesman was excellent. everything was explained and i got an amazing price (i went to cars.com and got a price that was $3000 below MSRP b/c it was a 2010 and they had 50+ of them on the lot). i also got pre-approved with an auto loan for chase, and i gave hyundai the option of beating their interest rate, which they did. kevin was a really great salesperson. i would rate this dealership a 5 overall but the finance guys were shady. they tried to charge me $1,500 for "gap insurance" (basically saying if i totaled the car, it would pay the difference between what it's worth and what i owe). READ EVERY SINGLE CHARGE ON THE FINANCE PAPERS BEFORE YOU SIGN, bc they add a ton of stuff not discussed prior. after catching this bogus charge and waiting to speak directly to the GM for 30-45 minutes, they got rid of it. of course the gm just blamed it on the 'new' finance guy. besides this everything was great with this dealership. they seem to have a ton more cars than paramus, so for me it was worth the extra 10-15 miles drive to save $$ More
Recently, I was looking to buy a Genesis 2010, V8 model with a technology package. I sent an internet inquiry to this dealer, they send me e-mail back saying they will beat the any dealer price by $300. I with a technology package. I sent an internet inquiry to this dealer, they send me e-mail back saying they will beat the any dealer price by $300. I called them several days later with a price of $39,606.00. This girl was asking me a question and make sure I have a print-out of internet quote, then told me to wait while she is checking with sales manager. Minites later, she told me that they do not have V8 model, they sold it all. I asked her why then an dealer internet page they advertised as if they have one. Or they just can't not beat the price down by $300. What a sleezy trick!! More
