I went to several dealers looking for a specific car where I got the run around and dealt with very unprofessional staff. Going to Wayne, I was skeptical, but hopeful. When I was driving to the dealer, where I got the run around and dealt with very unprofessional staff. Going to Wayne, I was skeptical, but hopeful. When I was driving to the dealer, I got a call from the receptionist to let me know the specific car I am interested in is still available (she promised to call me at a certain time because I was driving a long distance and didn't want to drive there only to have the car already sold that I wanted - she did exactly as she said she would, which is already putting this place ahead of the other dealers). The salesman that helped me was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I got a great deal on my trade and on the car I wanted. I would gladly travel again to this dealer in order to avoid the games the other dealers played! More
The salesmen worked with me to give me the best car for the most affordable pricing option. They gave me more than the value of my trade-in and a fantastic new vehicle. the most affordable pricing option. They gave me more than the value of my trade-in and a fantastic new vehicle. More
Got a truecar certificate for a 2012 gls auto with preferred package. Called and spoke to Dennis. They had a black one that had 1500 miles on it. He stated it was a demo and that they may be able to n preferred package. Called and spoke to Dennis. They had a black one that had 1500 miles on it. He stated it was a demo and that they may be able to negotiate the price even more. I asked clearly, explicitly, without stuttering if there were any other fees other than those stated on the truecar price. He said No, we honor true car, we have a 400 dollar doc fee which was on the paper and the only other fees are tax, title and reg. OK!! Great, I get my family in the car, ready to do the deal. TWO HOUR DRIVE. Now mind you, I was already approved at 6.9% for 72 months through USAA. we get there and wait. Finally, salesman starts to help us. Car came back from a test drive. He stated we should get the financial end together first to secure the car. Asked for a 500 dollar deposit, even though I was planning on driving away in it that day. Then he said they cannot honor true car because the car was USED. They wanted FULL STICKER on the car! I said ok, is it NEW or USED? how can you ask full sticker. the answer "well, it's like new". I can smell the BS. He goes to finance manager and says they will honor true car price... ok... now I'm feeling better. He runs my credit and tells me its marginal and the scenario they ran I would be looking at 10%-17% Interest. Even though I already was approved for 6.9???? really? I then asked how many points the dealer tags on top of the banks rate. "I dont know, I'm not a finance guy". my wife asked if he knew, would he tell us. "of course not" he said. ok... this is not looking good... THEN I see a 300 dollar etching fee, 99 dollar fee to run my credit. I asked how many other fees, he muttered something about 400 dollars (cant recall exact number, but I was in shock) for registration. I then told him I am a PA resident. He said oh, let me see what pennsylvania is (I have placed my credit card back in my wallet as I see he has pulled every BS trick so far and dont want him stealing anything from me). He comes back after talking to the manager again... no mention of what PA reg is, but proceeds to tell me the price will be at 18699 or something like that. That I HAVE to pay for etching. NOW... my truecar price cetificate stated $17854 plus 395 doc fee. I then get up tell him about how I did not like the deceit and lies and wished him luck. I expected to spend 18249 before tax title etc. but because they were greedy and deceptive, not a damn penny. I also have 3 other people I am ready to refer. NOT THERE!! so 4 hrs drive time in 100 deg weather. I am going to be sending letters to everyone under the sun so they can hear what a horrible experience this was... and OH! He said "Dennis was new, thats why things got screwed up" I want to see his employment history. I also want to see the proof of title transfer from that car. I dont know who is telling the truth there. More
I shopped every dealer in the area and this dealer is by far the best. It seemed as though no dealers really had much inventory, so I wasn't able to get exactly what I wanted, but Whitman and Joe went above far the best. I am coming off lease on a Mazda CX9. I was interested in the Sonata. My lease was with Wayne Mazda but I wasn't interested in another Mazda. Since both dealerships are the same owner someone from Mazda in the Sonata. My lease was with Wayne Mazda but I wasn't interested in another Mazda. Since both dealerships are the same owner someone from Mazda sent me to the Hyundai dealer and told me I could pull ahead on my lease getting out 2 months early. My Mazda is slightly over mileage so I am trying to avoid turning in my lease due to the charges. The salesman made a deal with me to buy my Mazda if I leased the Sonata. When I came in to pick up my Sonata they dicked around for over an hour before telling me that they weren't going to buy my Mazda because there was less than 120 days left in my lease. They knew how long was left in my lease when I was there the first time and made the deal. They were just hoping that I would be so excited about the new Sonata that I would cave in and lease it anyway. The Sales Manager was a complete a-hole. Thought who the heck he was - he was too busy telling us what a great guy he was rather than trying to difuse a bad situation. I will instead be buying my Mazda for the residual value whioh is a few thousand dollars less than the actual trade in value. As soon as I sign the papers I am going to drive to another dealer and sell it to them for exactly what I paid for it so that I can cut an even better deal. I have since called Wayne Mazda two times hoping to speak to someone about buying my lease but no one is calling me back. Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. More
New purchase. Simply bitter experience. It was the third Hyundai dealership I went to and eventually purchased. Don't believe a word they tell you. They are all inflated by 50%. Went in with a "guaranteed" price from American Express for a Tuscon they had on the lot. It had everything I wanted except remote start, and that option is dealer installable. Saleswoman was e Express for a Tuscon they had on the lot. It had everything I wanted except remote start, and that option is dealer installable. Saleswoman was either dense or a fraud; she kept trying to quote prices other than the Amex price. Finally went to talk with sales manager for five minutes and came back with a price for the base vehicle that was consistent with the guarantee. When I asked about the remote start, she added $450 to the price. The MSRP for that feature is $350, while the Amex guaranteed price is $316. I walked out. For a $134 rip-off attempt, they lost a $28K+ sale. More
