Sonata I purchased a Hyundai Sonata on 6/6/14. I was not sure if I wanted a Honda Civic or a Hyundai Elantra. When I went to the dealership, I first met wi I purchased a Hyundai Sonata on 6/6/14. I was not sure if I wanted a Honda Civic or a Hyundai Elantra. When I went to the dealership, I first met with John Sima, who was very nice. He advised me that Hyundai was giving a $2000 rebate on the Sonata which brought the price down to close to the price of an Elantra. He gave me a price and I met with the sale manager who gave me a price, which was too high according to TrueCar.com. I did my due diligence. He wouldn't budge on the price and was not very pleasant. I thought about it and made the decision that I wanted the Sonata as the Civic was lower to the ground and the Sonata was easier to get in and out of and also because it was a bigger car with a smoother ride and took the bumps better. I returned to see John with a price in mind, ready to buy and if the manager would not meet the price, I was prepared to go to another dealership. John was no longer there and there was also a new manager so it seemed worth trying again before going elsewhere. My new salesperson was Eddie Santiago who was WONDERFUL. He was anxious to please me and took me out for another test drive and showed me every single feature of the car. He gave me his full attention and he and the new manager worked with me to deliver a price that was workable. I was there to buy, not to shop. Eddie was absolutely great and he made the buying experience a very happy one. The new manager was equally as nice and wanted a happy customer. It was a cash deal and when the insurance money came in along with the bank's check, Eddie worked hard to get the paperwork completed in as timely a fashion as possible. He was friendly, supportive and grateful. He even sent me a thank you email and when I went back today to pick up my plates and registration, he greeted me like I was his friend. Rest assured that I will recommend Eddie and when I buy another car, I would want to give Eddie my business. While I loved my Honda Civic, the Sonata is so much easier to get in and out of as it is higher off the ground. It drives like a dream - so smooth - a much smoother ride than the Civic and it is a beautiful car to look at. I am still getting used to how big it is compared to the Civic, but I love it and am I very happy Sonata owner. More

Throughout the entire process I felt comfortable because I was treated like a person and not a dollar sign. I came in a few days later with my down payment and insurance information and was out the door with my keys. I would highly recommend looking at this dealership if you are in the market for a car. When I'm in the market again, I will definitely look at Wayne Hyundai, they were awesome! More

Biggest waste of time I found a 2013 genesis coupe in the inventory online and saw that the price was reasonable, then when I went in not only was the car over $2000 more e I found a 2013 genesis coupe in the inventory online and saw that the price was reasonable, then when I went in not only was the car over $2000 more expensive but with taxes fees etc I'd be paying more for the new 2013 than I would be for a new 2014. And the employee was so uninformed and nearly arguing with me as if I was lying about the ad. He was so arrogant and rude and the manager just sat around at the desk watching. I was so fed up I got up and left. Never had I had such a horrible experience at a dealership before. I don't know how they stay in business, but they certainly will NOT be making a commission off of me, and I highly suggest driving the extra miles to go somewhere else. More

When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted in the parking lot by John Sima and he set me up on a test drive in the parking lot. Once I sat down with him in the dealer, he advised me that the website price did not include the $995 Hyundai certification fee or an $857 repair bill that I would be responsible for as part of the purchase. We negotiated some of that overhead out of a deal. However, on my way home, I visited Towne Hyundai in Denville and they had a very similar car with similar mileage for $641 less out-the-door. I called back John Sima, and while he was friendly and not pushy (two things I appreciate in a car salesman), he was unable to match the price at Towne despite his dealer's advertising that they will beat any price by $300. More
Wayne Hyundai went above and beyond in customer service and when I am in the market to buy a new car I will be returning to this dealership. As they say the salesman is often the face of the business and and when I am in the market to buy a new car I will be returning to this dealership. I called the dealership at 7pm to return a lease and Angel said I could come over right away to return the car. No appointment, no hassle, and no games. I got there and he was ready for me and he made the return quick and easy. I highly recommend this dealership and Angel, over any other dealerships in the area. More
