I bought my Ford in August of 2012. It is a 2013 Ford Edge Sport. I was back and forth between 3 dealerships when purchasing my truck. I chose Wayne Ford over Ford Auto Mall in Butler and Fette in Clifto Edge Sport. I was back and forth between 3 dealerships when purchasing my truck. I chose Wayne Ford over Ford Auto Mall in Butler and Fette in Clifton because I live in Wayne. My service started out well. The last 3 times have I have been in for service has been a nightmare. The first of the 3 when I picked up my truck from service my back left bumber was scraped up and it was not when I dropped it off. The service department apologized and advised they would have their guy touch it up for me. I understand things happen. The next time my truck was fine when I dropped it off for service again. When I picked it up the check engine light was on and off for the first few weeks and eventually went away. I did not bring it up since it went away. This past time my truck was fine when I dropped it off once again. The day after I picked it up the engine light was blinking and my auto start was no longer working. This past weekend the light came on and stayed on. I called Monday for an appointment and told them I was driving to Vermont that Thursday and I needed it looked at. They said they could not service the truck until Thursday and could not move it up. That was my first problem if the truck was fine before it is obviously their error they should accomodate I did purchase my truck at this dealership. When I brought it in this morning I asked if they could look at it early on because of my leaving later today. He said we will get to it when we can. Is this good service? If iIdrop my truck off for service I don't expect to pick it up with problems and if there is they should do everything possible to fix as soon as possible. I will not bring my truck back here for service and it would take a lot for me to purchase a vehicle here again. There are too many other Ford Dealerships locally no need to choose one that will give you problems with the service everytime you need an oil change. Keith Bursey More
I bought a brand new Ford Focus. After three days a started to hear noise when switching gears. I went to the dealership for an appointment and they gave one but a week from the day I asked for servic started to hear noise when switching gears. I went to the dealership for an appointment and they gave one but a week from the day I asked for service. Today 05/08/2013 my wife was driving the car and the transmission was stuck on drive. My wife put it in reverse and the car went forward and almost got into an accident. My daughter was with her too. I immediately called the dealership to tell them about the problem and told them what happened and that the car is too dangerous to drive. The girl that answered the phone dared to tell me that nothing she can do and i have to call the service in the morning. I will explore all my legal options to make this dealership pay. Not they sold a defective car but their bad attitude towards that problem. Please do not buy from this dealership. I am real and my number is 201-919-5912 More
This is best dealer experence I've ever had. I have a 2012 Ford Focus which developed a difficult diagnose front suspension squeak. When I went to get the service done, they ran out of loaner cars, so Paul gave me his own dealer vehicle! This is the friendliest and most accommodating service experience I've ever had. They have won a very loyal customer in me for years to come. More
I think it's great that you have this site to review the dealership but I have a complaint! This whole site is directed to the sales staff, who I agree are outstanding but I wold like to see this expand the dealership but I have a complaint! I'm an old man now and have bought many cars from many dealers over the years and without failure the reason I have gone to another dealer is because of the service I've received after the sale. you have such a super service department you should highlight it, it's a huge sales tool. Everyone has been so professional, competent and accommodating.....I just cannot say enough about the quality of your service department. You should give them the recognition that they deserve! I have been buying, leasing and servicing my vehicles for more than 10 years at Wayne Ford. Having formerly been in the automotive business for over 30 years I had dealt with many dealerships, but never came more than 10 years at Wayne Ford. Having formerly been in the automotive business for over 30 years I had dealt with many dealerships, but never came across one like this. They only hire the most honest, real human beings here and they really do "Treat you like family". I live in East Rutherford but drive there even for an oil change because I trust them explicitly and I know whatever I ask them to do or check it WILL BE DONE! I won't be charged for something I don't need nor will I be sold a bill of goods. When I buy a new vehicle they never try to rip me off with after-sell like other dealers have in the past. They are a one of kind dealership. More
