I was very excited to sell my car after researching the profit sharing program that Way Scarf Ford offers. And we did receive the highest offer from their dealership. We agreed to sell and were told we wou profit sharing program that Way Scarf Ford offers. And we did receive the highest offer from their dealership. We agreed to sell and were told we would receive our portion of the payment with in 7 to 10 business days. After 10 business days I had to call them and ask about the payment. They said they hadn't received the title yet and payment would have to wait but they expected that to be ANOTHER 7 to 10 days. After the 2nd 10 days I again had to reach out to the dealership and was told they were still waiting for the title but when I touched they agreed to make an "exception" and give us our payment. When we agreed to sell the car we were told by Phil Lampkin Car acquisition Manager that they routinely sold their vehicles in under 45 days and they would be very surprised if it took longer than that. They went on to say after 60 days they are basically losing money so they would lower the price and really push the sale. He assured us the sale wouldn't be a problem. That was in late September early October. Fast forward now to mid March 5 months later and I have reached out to several different employees trying to get an update as our car no longer appears on their website as of 2 weeks ago so I'm presuming it was sold. Every time I contact someone they tell me it's a different person I need to contact. I was told to reach out to Faith the Title Manager. I did and gave her my information and was told she would get back to me. After a week without a return call or email I again reached out to Faith spoke with her again. Gave her my information again and was AGAIN told she would get back to me. Nothing. After a second week without hearing back from Faith the second time I contacted Tari via email as he was my original contact when selling the car. He at least responded to me, saying he would forward my email to Faith and the General Manager Mark Clymer. The next day I received an email from Tari letting me know that Faith had replied to HIM stating that she had passed my information on to Chris Taylor and that he would respond to me. Now days later I have not heard from Faith Tari Chris or General Manager Mark despite my pleas. So far we have been misled, stalled , ignored , passed around and left with no communication. This is beyond disappointing. Honestly I would have rather received less money if it meant open honest communication and even a shred of customer service . I'll update this if and when I ever hear back from them and if I receive payment as we agreed. More
