I wanted to express my great experience and service I received from from Waxahachie Ford. Fernando Silva took very good care of me while purchasing a new F-150 King Ranch. Don't recall the exact date I brought the car in for repair but it was 13 days later before I got any feedback on the job. During that 13 days I attempted to call the Service Agent that inducted it ( repair but it was 13 days later before I got any feedback on the job. During that 13 days I attempted to call the Service Agent that inducted it (Charlie Lewis) but that was an exercise in frustration. Each time I called I got his answering machine which immediately told me to leave a message and then informed me that the message box was full. That was both on his business and cell phone numbers. On one occasion I opted to send an SMS message (whatever that is??) and he called me later that day and said that they were still working on it. Finally on the 13th day I went into the shop and talked to a different rep who checked on it and said they could not duplicate the problem. This was hard to believe since it happened every time the key was removed from the ignition. Apparently there was a miscommunication between the way I described the problem and what they thought I was describing: although any tech familiar with the ignition key/switch functionality should have quickly realized what what happening--it was pretty obvious. Now I can understand a miscommunication. What I find unsatisfactory is that after 13 days nobody had attempted to let me know what actually was going on. Had they done so the problem would have been cleared up then and there. I'm wondering how many days they would have tried to "duplicate the problem" before calling me about it. On the positive side, the Service Rep that I dealt with the second time got the job done that same afternoon and I got the car the next morning. More
I appreciate the level of communication of the service department, and how friendly the service advisors are. Check in is fast and simple. The service is done quickly but not rushed. All issues are addressed. That alone should make one want to choose Waxahachie Ford.
