Went in for an oil change. They didn't remove the old oil filter gasket/seal before installing new oil filter causing an oil leak. They also spilt oil all down the side of my motor. Took a total of 5 and a h filter gasket/seal before installing new oil filter causing an oil leak. They also spilt oil all down the side of my motor. Took a total of 5 and a half hours between 3 different days to correct the problem. Then they busted off one of my front mud flaps More

While travelling from Colorado to Texas, my engine light came on. Emergency service was appreciated, but what was needed to fix all of my problems was not really explained well. After a $1,400.00 charge, I came on. Emergency service was appreciated, but what was needed to fix all of my problems was not really explained well. After a $1,400.00 charge, I still had to take the vehicle to another dealer in Central Texas to get an explanation of the entire problem, my estimated cost, and how two recent Ford recalls might be involved, etc. It was unfortunate that Waxahachie Ford could not do a better job of explaining the entire issue. Also, the service advisor said I was in good hands because he was assigning a 30 year seasoned mechanic to my problem, but when I asked to talk to him after I found out I still needed additional major engine repairs, the mechanic appeared to be in his early 30's, not one with 30 years of experience. I felt like they were just telling me what they thought I wanted to here to justify the $1,400 charge. More
