I brought a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander from this place in August 2023. Not even 2 hours after I drove off the lot, my abs sensor light & 4x4 light on my dash came on. They knew about this issue. Instead of j August 2023. Not even 2 hours after I drove off the lot, my abs sensor light & 4x4 light on my dash came on. They knew about this issue. Instead of just coming out, being upfront, & telling me about this issue, they reset the errors by R & R the battery cables to reset all errors that jus strangely came back on less than 2 hours after I drove off the lot. This happened on a Friday. I called Ian, my sales guy, On Sat. He was great. Nothing against him. He told management about my issue then they called me back Monday. I told management how these warning lights came on not even 2 hours after I drove off the lot. Even though I did buy the car as is, no warranty, they said they would check it out, but since I didn't finance with them, they couldn't do nothing for me. Cost me $4000 to repair all the issues this dealership intentionally hid from me. It's obvious these sales manager don't care about repeat business, or @ least trying to look out for there customers. I'm done with this place. That's the 1st & last time they will ever intentionally screw me over again. The sales manager @ this spot, I think his name was Jared, yea, dude is suspect. Don't let him fool ya. He will rig, reset, & hide all errors on the used cars he sells just to move em off the lot. Dude is running a shady used car sales dealership. Don't trust him! The salespeople are cool, like I said Ian's great guy, great salesman. But the way the sales manager intentionally screwed me over just to sell a car off his lot doesn't sit well with me. If you buy a used car from this place, make sure you get an independent mechanic to check it out 1st so you won't get screwed over by sales manager Jared like I did. If Ian is your sales person, you're in great hands. He's gonna look out for ya. If Sales manager Jared comes over & tries to tell you how he wants to help you out & take care of you, tell him to kick rocks & ask for a different manager. More
I was beyond impressed with the overall car buying/leasing experience at Waterford Mitsubishi. This was much different from the stereotypical experience one expects from an auto dealership. My buying/leasing experience at Waterford Mitsubishi. This was much different from the stereotypical experience one expects from an auto dealership. My salesman, Marquise “York” Tally was outstanding. Some auto dealerships talk about how the customer comes first, but this dealership, and specifically Tally, lives this mission daily. He puts his customers first making sure they’re educated about the vehicle they purchase without all the high pressure tactics you’ve come to expect from the industry. Besides treating you like royalty, Talley also makes sure that you’re receiving the best deal possible without throwing in needless add-ins at the end to bloat the price and confuse you. To tell you how much Tally cares about the customer experience, while I was waiting for my new ‘24 Outlander PHEV to be prepped for purchase, he bought me dinner and personally delivered it to the dealership. I’ve never had a car salesman do that. Heck, my wife wouldn’t even do that. This isn’t something he did to persuade me to purchase the car since I had already signed the papers. He did this out of the goodness of his heart and to create a customer for life. During my original test drive, he went out and purchased a Starbucks beverage of my choosing. I’ve never received this level of appreciation from my former salesman at the Acura or Lincoln dealership. And those are considered “luxury” brands where the dealership experience is supposed to be at a higher level. Neither beat the Waterford Mitsubishi experience. Even after I signed on the dotted the line, the royal treatment continued by both the finance and sales manager. Each of them made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase and that any issues I had with my new Mitsubishi, were remedied to my satisfaction. Folks, I’ve been to many auto dealerships throughout the years. Simply put, this was the best auto dealership I’ve ever been to. If you’re in the market for a new Mitsubishi or a used vehicle, take a trip out to beautiful Waterford, Michigan and experience this gem of a dealership. No matter how far you live from the dealership, it’s worth the trip to experience an A++++ auto buying experience. Be sure to ask for “York.” And tell him Brett sent you. P.S. The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a fantastic vehicle. I recommend the SUV as much as I do the dealership. More
I did not care for the attitudes of the (2) sales staff there, which tells me that is their company culture. In addition to, we test drove a vehicle which was a 20k vehicle- and the brakes were in very poo there, which tells me that is their company culture. In addition to, we test drove a vehicle which was a 20k vehicle- and the brakes were in very poor condition. Most dealerships would go ahead and have their service dept fix the brakes or other potential safety hazards prior to selling or even prior to having people test drive their products. Most people shop used at a dealership vs private sale for that type of service. Even without that on the test drive, their staff was arrogant. More
