We were greeted with a smile as soon as we arrived & never once did we feel like we were being pushed, neglected, or "car salesmaned". Adam asked us what we were looking for, in detail, and brought us exactly what we needed & wanted. He spent his undivided attention on us & listened. He then, with the help of the dealership and his boss(manager), made it possible for us to drive our BEAUTIFUL Kia home! I still can't express in words how amazingly happy we are & how Ward Kia & Adam Emery worked with us. Not just worked with us but for us! The price is unbelievable & we were treated as if we were golden members of some credit club....we do not have very good credit just due to life & they were determined to give us a chance. We will never go anywhere else. Proud to say we are apart of the Ward Kia family. Good thing too, because we have a 13yr old son:) I'm recommending everyone, literally, to Ward Kia of Carbondale,IL and especially the salesman that made it all happen, Adam Emery!! During the test drive, I commented to the salesman that I heard a noise that didn't sound right. I know, dumb me, but the salesman told me it was the sound of new tires on the highway and that it would go a heard a noise that didn't sound right. I took him for his word on it (after all, he would know about car noises) and went ahead and bought the car. The noise didn't go away and I brought the car back to the dealership. Imagine my surprise when the service manager checked the noise and said it was bad tires and that they needed to be replaced. When he saw how shocked I was about 'bad tires' and I explained, his comment was that the sales manager and salesmen had been replaced and he would like to just start over and make my experience with Ward Kia enjoyable. That doesn't set right - my agreement wasn't with the salesman, it was with Ward Kia. I officially requested that Ward Kia make good on the salesman's deception (I had written proof that he told me the tires were new), but Ward Kia ignored me (it's been over a month). Let the buyer beware. More

I have bought over a dozen new cars in my kifetime and Ward Kia is, hands down, the most dishonest car dealer that i have ever dealt with. I actually bought a car there and got a decent price but I did my homework ahead of time and knew exactly what my final price should be. Their tactics consist of adding incredibly overpriced options onto the car like thousand dollar windshield breakage protection plans and two thousand dollar rust protection plans that will take the price of a 15 thousand dollar car up to twenty or so but then give ridiculously high trade in allowances if you have a trade in and special today only discounts if you push the issue farther. I prefer to walk into a dealer and pay a fair price and get a fair value for a trade if I have one. I bought a Forte for my son and traded in his 15 year old ford with a bad transmission. They gave me 50000 on the trade but the Forte had $4000 of useless dealer addons so I got the car at a grand under sticker-right at the price it should have gone far. The trade was useless and had no real value other than for scrap and parts More
