After doing my usual in-depth study of new cars that fit our criteria, we looked for a local dealer. Wantagh Mazda coincidentally had an ad in the auto insert of our local newspaper that caught my wife's ey our criteria, we looked for a local dealer. We were warmly greeted by the staff in the showroom and, after browsing for a while, sat down with Victor. Victor was terrific! Never seeming to be in a hurry, he showed us the car in detail and offered a test drive. We were pleased by the car's performance, but were not sure this was the car for us. A week passed and we returned to the Wantagh Mazda. Victor again sat us down, offering to answer any questions we might have. He offered a second test drive, which we accepted. That made a difference. The car felt more comfortable and we were less anxious about the experience. Back at the dealership we sat down to talk dollars and cents. He and the finance manager took us through the usual hoops, but in a very professional and non-pressured manner. Once we met our price point, we shook hands. Several days later we sat down with Danny for the final go round of numbers and to review accessories for the car. Danny was also very professional and thorough in his presentation. Pick-up was scheduled for Thursday. Thursday came and, again, the staff at Wantagh could not have been easier to work with. I had some questions about the final figures that were answered to my satisfaction. We would definitely return to Wantagh Mazda in the future. The car is great, meeting our every need at this point in our lives, and, for once, we enjoyed the car buying experience. More
The service at Wantagh Mazda is the best service of any dealer that I have dealt with, and I have dealt with many. I needed an extra key made for my 2000 MPV. I was getting desperate because my daughter dealer that I have dealt with, and I have dealt with many. I needed an extra key made for my 2000 MPV. I was getting desperate because my daughter unexpectedly got a job (her first) in another state and she needed the car, but I had only one key. Another Mazda dealer could not make a new key for my car and informed me that it would be a long and costly process to resolve the problem. I found Wantagh Mazda by reading the reviews on dealerrater.com. I was able to bring the car in the next day. There were some issues in making the new key, BUT they solved them at a very reasonable cost and in very little time. The service people at Wantagh Mazda are real Mazda nerds and can come up with imaginative solutions to car problems. More

I called Wantagh Mazda after having a bad experience at another Mazda dealer. As soon as I spoke to Victor, I began to calm down and relax. Victor quoted me a good price and delivered the exact car I wan another Mazda dealer. As soon as I spoke to Victor, I began to calm down and relax. Victor quoted me a good price and delivered the exact car I wanted at that price. The car came in within a couple of days and Victor stayed in communication with me to give me status updates. I did my financing through the dealership, and they were able to get me the exact rate I was quoted through my credit union. Everything I was told was true, there was no pressure or bait and switch tactics. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants straight talk and great service. More

When I returned a week later he remembered me and immediately found the paperwork from the previous week. We had a nice conversation and at no time did I feel pressured. We decided on a car and then we met with the finance manager. Again, there was no pressure. He told us what options were avaialbe and what the cost was but he understood that we were not ineterested. I went back two days later to pick up the car - the paperwork was all in order and the car looked great. Once again Victor was very accomodating and we are extremely pleased with the entire experience. I highly recommend Wantagh Mazda, particularly Victor. More

We were deciding among Ford,Hyundai, Nissan etc and had visited several dealers already. Victor showed us the car, didn't try to sell us any extras at all (which we didn't want). He sized us up right away and asked if we wanted to drive the car. We said yes and both drove it. He told us right away about the discounts we would get as AAA members. All in all he seemed very professional, well-informed and a real pleasure to deal with. We traded in our old Camry which reduced the selling price. When we picked up our Mazda, he got in the car with us and made sure we knew where everything was. I could go on and on, but you get the idea.Victor is the best. More
