I was not too sure I wanted a Mazda, but after test driving one and talking to Victor and him explaining everything in detail and taking the time to answer questions, it was almost a no-brainer. Normally I hate the car buying experience! so when I walked into Wantagh Mazda I was prepared for the usual battle. Instead, my experience was quite the opposite. I was taken care of by Phil Puleo who got right to the point and actually offered me a deal better than I was expecting. I researched the Mazda3 i Grand Touring online at Edmunds and other sites and had a pretty good idea what I should pay. Phil cut right to the chase and in less than 1 hour I saw some vehicles, went over options and lease terms, and shook hands on what I think was a great deal. Hands down the best new car experience I've had. And I've had quite a few! I WILL BE BACK AND I WILL TELL FRIENDS AND FAMILY. More
My daughter came into the showroom ready to look at and buy a car . She walked into the showroom on a Wednesday afternoon and there weren't any customers there but her. None of the four salesmen on the floor approached my daughter to help her. She walked over and started talking to a salesman, who was Kenny Davis. After expressing interest in a car, Mr. Davis was rude and unprofessional, questioning the age of my daughter. (She looks young for her age) He told her he wouldn't talk any "numbers" with her about the car and told her she could take it for a test drive. Her license was given to him and he tossed her the keys and told her he "had money to make" and walk away. The car was test driven and she did like it, but again upon returning to the showroom she was ignored and there wasn't any salesmen who was professional or helpful. My daughter left and took her business elsewhere to a Volkswagen Dealer in Hicksville. The salesman Joe couldn't have been more professional, showing my daughter everything about this car she needed to know. Wantagh Mazda should be ashamed of themselves for discriminating against someone just because they look young. Every person who walks into the dealership is a potential customer and should be treated with respect.. What a terrible experience my daughter had. She took her college graduation money and her earnings to a place of business that wanted to work with her. Myself and my husband who own many businesses will never do business with them in the future. More
My Wantagh Mazda car buying experience was fantastic. Our salesman Phil Puleo was especially helpful and friendly and so far we love our CX5. I normally dread the process of going to the car dealer: the high pressure sales pitch, complexity of figuring out car options, etc. However, from the minute I stepped onto the showroom floor I felt like I was among friends. The staff let me look at the cars at my leisure but were available to answer any and all questions that I had. We purchased a CX5 which had been only out on the market a few months but Phil knew the car as if he had been selling it for years. We wanted a particular color that was not in stock but there was no pressure to 'settle' for another color. When the a car was finally located it was prepped (dealer options) in a day. Phil explained everything we needed to know about the car, giving us all the time we needed without rushing us. This was our 1st Mazda purchase but it won't be our last. More

I have had my share of negative car buying experiences, so I was a little leary to go car shopping. When I met Phil my husband had already stopped by and test drove a new Mazda 6. No salesman speak, no hassles, no trying to convince me of anything. Just a pleasant up front experience. I will definitely buy Mazda again and I will always ask for Phil, although everyone there seemed to be low key, relaxed and low pressure. They are honest and reliable. I cannot say enough about how easy this process was. I may not wait years for a new car as I did the last time, just trying to avoid the negative experiences I have had at other dealerships with other manufacturers. BUY AT WANTAGH MAZDA. Besides that the car is an absolute dream. I love it sooooo much. It is roomy, comfortable, nice looking and drives very well. It has good pick up and I feel like I am driving a much more expensive car. I had looked at similar sedans at other car dealerships, but they were much more expensive and not very impressive. Go to Wantagh Mazda and ask for Phil. The financing guy was great also. NO PRESSURE at all! More

Due to our expanding family, we were recently in the market for a new Mazda5. Although Wantagh Mazda is not the closest dealer to our home, we chose it based on its high grade by the Better Business Bu market for a new Mazda5. The people at Wantagh Mazda took an informative no pressure approach to the sale. Our sales person, David Chiari, gave us a below MSRP internet special price without us having to ask for it. This was nice because I am certainly not a negotiator. In fact, my wife asked a family friend to come with us to the dealership to help ensure I didn’t get in over my head. However, when we left the dealership, the 3 of us kept commenting on how pleasant the whole experience was. When David Chiari passed us on to the final sale and credit person, Daniel Stegner, the positive experience continued. Daniel Stegner explained the various options available and the associated costs. That was it. No pressure. In sum, I highly recommend you go to Wantagh Mazda if you’re in the market for a Mazda. Like I wrote earlier, they used an informative low pressure sales approach which was extremely refreshing. Their approach is unlike any dealership I’ve ever experienced (this was my 3rd brand new car and I’ve purchased 1 used car from a dealership). More
