However, our dealings with Wantagh Mazda and specifically Victor Liantonio could not have gone better if I had scripted the encounter myself. Victor was pleasant, wonderful,addressed all of our questions,and made valuable and useful suggestions. Victor exerted no pressure on us whatsoever to purchase the car at our first meeting and there were no games where the salesman runs back in forth to his manager numerous times until a fair price is achieved. We felt that we got a fair price right up front without the needless, time consuming and phony negotiations utilized by other dealers. Victor addressed to our satisfaction a way out of the outstanding lease on our existing car that we wished to trade in for a new 2012 CX-9. We appreciated that Wantagh Mazda was considerate of our time and expedited the purchasing process. I can and will without any reservation recommend Wantagh Mazda and Victor to any of my family and friends interested in purchasing a car. I knew I wanted to buy the Mazda3 iTouring w/ Manual transmission and my goal was to do my research, find a good price, and drive home a new car within 3 days. That is exactly what I did and after corresponding with several dealerships via email, Joe Bonavita made me want to choose Wantagh Mazda. Other dealerships were unfriendly (or at best very curt, as if they were doing me a favor). After finding the best price quote I could, Joe Bonavita matched the price and made Wantagh Mazda an easy choice for me. I was able to get a written invoice, get approved for 0% financing, secure insurance/registration, and schedule a pick up time--all within the span of two work days. The night I went to pick up my new car, it literally took about 15 minutes to sign the papers and leave the dealership. Not once did Joe try to up-sell me on any extras or add-ons. Basically, I am still amazed that I could decide on a car Sunday night and drive it home Wednesday evening with minimal effort and still get a nice price and 0% financing.
