Wantagh Mazda

We were looking at several cars, the Mazda 3, Honda Civc, and Hyundai Elantra. We visited 2 separate dealerships for each model, and test drove each car at each dealership, (6 test drives). When we went to Wantagh Mazda we met David, who showed us the car, then gave us the keys for a test drive, after the test drive he answered all of our questions, and we told him we wanted to look at other cars. David was ok with this and did not pressure us to purchase. We then went to Honda City, Atlantic Hyundai, Advantage Hyundai, Millennium Honda, and Garden City Mazda. (We also did test drive the VW Jetta, and Toyota Corolla, but didn't like either car). After meeting 8 different salespeople, and 8 dealerships, we went back to Wantagh Mazda. It was David's day off, so we spoke to Joe S, the sales manager, we told him our story, and that we had spoken with David already, and that we were ready to buy. There was no BS, he gave us a price, I told him my best price, and we made a deal that I was happy with. He then handed us over to Joe B who wrote up the sales agreement. David called us later to thank us, and was there when we picked up the car to show us about it and do the paperwork. I am 55 yeas old and this was the first new car experience for my daughter, she drove every car, twice, and I assisted her with the sale. I have bought many new cars, but never this easy, with no pressure whatsoever from Wantagh Mazda. I cannot comment on service, yet, but would recommend for new car purchase. More

He sent me out on a test drive and gave me a fair price for my trade in. I mentioned a few other cars I was looking into, including a Kia. Kenny said I could look at other cars, but I would be back because a person can find nothing better than a Mazda. I test drove the Mazda 3 hatchback before I left, and was smitten. There are so many great details. I loved the sunroof and Bose speakers. It's pickup is amazing for a 4 cylinder. After my first visit I test drove a few other cars, even one with a back-up camera which the Mazda did not have. Some cars I tried had fancy extras, but I kept thinking about how the seat in the Mazda3 was built for me. I went back and had a second test drive. It has an amazing turning radius, which is something I was worried about after having driven an old Mazda6. I got all the extras I wanted- mud flaps, automatic start, and a tray for the trunk. Plus, Mazda loyalty rocks! They have great deals if someone in your family owns a Mazda (my dad does). I was taken care of, and they even washed two cars so I could better choose which color was right for me. This attention to detail confirmed I made the right choice. I bought the Mazda3 Hatchback in Velocity Red and I couldn't be happier! I vote Wantagh Mazda for great service, deals, and staff! More
