Was in the market for a new Mazda 6, loved the styling, the MPG's, and the handling (after a test drive). If they're afraid to give you a price in an e-mail it's a sure sign they want you sitting at a desk sweating as they play the "I'll see what my manager says" game, so passe in 2013. Started looking for dealer reviews online, came across some really nice things said about Wantagh Mazda, Phil Puleo in particular. I e-mailed him for a price, my cell rang 10 minutes later. He asked what I wanted, car and lease terms, promised a call back, and 10 minutes later I had all the information I needed to make a decision. When we went in to sign the quoted price actually dropped, we got the car we wanted with the options we wanted at a very fair price, there was no pressure to purchase aftermarket goodies that are 90% profit for the dealership, Phil was professional all the way. Car buying can be a headache, with Phil at the helm it was like taking a walk in the park, a wonderful pressure-free experience, highly recommended. More

From the moment I walked into the Wantagh Mazda dealership I felt very comfortable with my choice of dealers. I walked the lot on my own and an employee noticed me in the lot. He let me walk around on my owm which was refreshing. He did not follow me around as I noticed most other sales people do in many other dealerships. As I approached the exit to the lot Victor welcomed me to Wantagh Mazda and asked me if he could be of assistance. I was comfortable with him from the start. I discussed the Mazda 6 with Victor but told him I was still contemplating if a Mazda would be my final decision. He never put pressure on me, never knocked the competition I was looking at, and allowed me to make my own choice after he detailed me on all the options with the Mazda 6. I told him I would follow up with him in a day or two after I read thru the brochure. Once again he allowed me my space and I returned the call to him a couple days layer to discuss options and colors. Victor was very patient with me as I wanted to take my time and make the decision on my own. Victor is a very pleasant and upbeat person to work with. Notice I did not say salesman. He never tried to SELL me on anything I did not first inquire about. He gave me the information I needed and made the entire experience a very pleasant one. He asked me if I was a AAA member and that I could get the special AAA pricing. I was already aware of this based on my research but I certainly appreciated that Victor brought it up. I highly recommend anyone looking at a Mazda to call Victor. He is a great guy and he won't disappoint you! More
