I never like buying a new car because of the way most dealerships handle themselves. I saw the new Mazda 3 and decided that was the car for me so I headed to my local dealership Wantagh Mazda. The staff was very friendly and helpful in all aspects of buying my car. There was never any pressure before, during, or after my purchase. My sales representative was Victor Liantonio. He was extremely helpful and was able to answer all my questions. I test drove both models, the base and high end, something i had never been offered before (its usually just the high end) so I would "see and feel the differences in the cars and get the right one for me". The car I purchased was ready on time and Victor went through all of the technology with me before i left the dealership. The entire process was totally hassle free! This purchase was the best new car buying experience I have had. Wantagh Mazda is a family owned business and buying a car with Victor is like buying a car from your favorite uncle. I highly recommend this dealership for a friendly, pressure free buying experience. More

I spent the first day of looking at a Mitsubishi and Toyota dealership, both of which made me feel uncomfortable, not to mention the 4 phone calls a day. Mom has had a CX-7 for two years now and could not be happier. The CX-5 was my favorite car on the road, but felt out of my budget. I came to Mazda out of sheer curiosity, knowing the CX-5 was most likely outside of my budget. Immediately after walking in, I felt like part of their family. One of Victor’s associate made us a fresh pot of coffee to start while a trade-in assessment was being made. Victor and my mother caught up for a bit and we got to know each other. After a test drive I knew I wanted the car, but was concerned about the price and what I could afford. After conveying that I truly only wanted a basic model with AWD, I was shocked at the deal they offered me, truly lower than I expected. Joe the manager and Victor listened to all my concerns and we eventually came to an agreement. I was able to get the roof racks and cross bars for my bike rack and they even included the Bluetooth audio package which is incredible. I signed the lease on the spot that evening, knowing this was the right choice. Signing the lease was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Knowing I was soon to be driving my favorite car on the road, at a price tag I could afford was something I could have never expected a few days prior. Picking up the vehicle was surreal. Victor took my back into the service department to see the car and meet the maintenance crew. Gary was quite friendly and welcoming, and after meeting him, I knew my car would be in good hands in the future. I never expected the car to look as awesome as it did. The color is spectacular, with the roof rails adding a great sporty flavor. Driving off the lot for the first time gave me a great sense of accomplishment and success, knowing I have worked hard over the past few years to reach the point where I was able to afford this myself. Victor, Joe and the whole team were absolutely incredible. I know that anytime I am there, I will be treated like family, and that makes all the difference where car dealerships are a dime a dozen. I have already recommended the Wantagh Mazda dealership to all of my friends, knowing they will all have a great experience and get a great deal! More

this is my 5th mazda. 4 from Wantagh mazda , 1 from garden city mazda. Wantagh mazda is a much better experience. Phil is an exceptional salesperson. He is very knowledgeable and did not rush us. He encouraged us to test drive the cars we were interested in.
