Just bought a 2014 Mazda6 Touring with manual transmission from Wantagh Mazda. My salesman, Phil Puleo was terrific throughout the entire transaction. I never felt so comfortable during a new car transaction as I felt here. Both my wife and I were treated with respect and intelligence and we never felt pressured or "sold" to. Phil went out of his way to let us thoroughly test drive the car of our choice, as we were buying a car with a manual transmission which is a rare animal around these parts. He didn't have one on the lot, so he called me the moment he had one in so we could take it for a test drive. He simply handed me the keys and said, "go have fun and take as much time as you want." After we decided that we loved the car, the negotiations went just as easily. We wanted a different color than he had on the lot, but he said "no problem" and he would locate our choice from another dealer. There was basically no haggling as right off the bat Phil offered me a very fair price for my trade-in, a very fair asking price for the car, 0.9% financing for 60 months and a an additional $500 Conquest rebate from Mazda. Delivery went smoothly as well with all my ordered options correctly installed and no paperwork snags. NO pressure. Just a fun, relaxing and satisfying car buying experience. This dealer should run classes for all the other HORRIBLE car dealers out there. Again, I HIGHLY recommend Phil Puleo and Wantagh Mazda. More
