Honest and friendly I was in the market for a Mazda and had gone to my local dealer in Queens that did not a good experience. I even came close to changing my mind and going with another make but I decided to give another Mazda dealer a shot. I walked in about an hour before they closed and was greeted by Jonathan who was friendly and patient. I've walked in to other dealers close to closing time and have been ignored but I felt very welcomed here. I got set up for a road test and was given permission to go alone or to be accompanied. I was taken on the highway where I got a chance to really feel the car. We came back and discussed numbers. They were very willing to meet me around my budget and worked hard to give me every possible discount they could. I want to thank everyone at Wantagh Mazda , Jonathan , Phillip and Kenny for making my first lease experience a great one. I highly recommended you to come visit them. More

Jonathan, Phil and Kenny I thank you. I was driving a 2001 Toyota with 135,000 miles on it, it looked like xxxx but I avoided replacing it because I dreaded the "car buying game". My neighbor told me about his wonderful experience at Wantagh Mazda. As a guy with over 40 years of sales experience I was still skeptical! I take the plunge and walk into Wantagh Mazda. I am greeted by Jonathan Lakritz. We talk, I tell him what I want. He is very well informed and has a nice way about himself. He informs me of all the specs and options. I make my selection, a Mazda 3. I tense up figuring now the battle royale begins. Jonathan and Phil Puleo go over the numbers and present me a price. Everything I asked for is included and the price is within 3% of what I expected. Amazing. Where is the catch? While Jonathan and Phil did their thing with the numbers Kenny Davis the Business Manager came over and introduced himself. Aha I say, Jonathan and Phil are the nice guys, Kenny must be the Shark. I decide to lease the vehicle and the next step is to sit down with Kenny. Let me say here that 4 years ago, when getting a car from a competitor, I walked out of the Business Manager's office because of I thought he was crook. I am ready for Kenny! Kenny goes over everything with me in great detail, explains my options, convinces me it would be wise to buy the "alloy wheel package". I am waiting for the fun to start, waiting for the SHARK tactics to come out. Kenny puts the forms for signature in front of me..... I peruse them intently looking for the catch that I know is coming. Surprise, everything is just the way they said it would be! With that Kenny thanks me for leasing a car from Wantagh Mazda and says if I have any issues I should call him or anyone else on the team. I sit there and smile. I am 64 years old and this is not my first car. Did I just lease a car from a dealer without a fight? YES I DID. I should mention now that my last 3 cars came from the same major Mazda competitor. I ddn't go back to them this time because each subsequent transaction became more and more unpleasant. When a business talks about their "FAMILY" approach I always think it's a little corny and just a marketing ploy. Not anymore. The Mazda guys convinced I was wrong, they treat you like family. Everyone at the dealership was incredibly friendly and did everything they could to make getting a new car easy and fluid. They did an amazing job at helping me out with the pricing and getting me out of my first lease, with no sales gimmicks or pressure either. They're straight forward to the point and do anything they can to get you the best deal. This is my second time getting a car from there and both times have been a very pleasurable experience. More

The integrity of Wantagh Mazda is famous, so coming here to purchase a pre-owned SUV was a no-brainer. Victor Liantonio is a special man...low key, humble, smart. He respected my "wish list" and never pressured me to "indulge"...yet he always took the time to explain the rationale behind some other options I had not yet considered. He was patient...kept me informed during the waiting process...and found the PERFECT car match for me. I want to also acknowledge the help from Joe Stella, who worked with me and Victor to get the best possible trade-in allowance for my much-loved Mazda 6. Please let me stress that, once I decided to purchase another Mazda, I did not dealer-hop. I told Victor up-front that I trusted Wantagh Mazda...and especially him. And I KNOW I got the best car...at the best price! More

I walked in hoping to negotiate a lease on a CX-5, expe Even after seeing the great reviews of Wantagh Mazda on this site and others, I was skeptical. I walked in hoping to negotiate a lease on a CX-5, expecting the stereotypical car buying experience. You know, the "hard sell" with the salesman pulling the ol' "I have to ask my manager" trick four times before finally giving you a reasonable price. This was far from that. Jonathan greeted us and was patient, helpful and friendly throughout the process. He answered all of our questions and explained our options clearly. After I told him what we were looking for, he quoted us a very fair price -- the first time. After we agreed to the deal, we met the gregarious finance guy Kenny. I warned my wife, "This is where they try to trick you into buying all the extras." But outside of a modest push for a tire package, which Jonathan had already warned us was coming, there was none of that. My wife and I were stunned by how simple it all was. No nonsense, no pushy sales tactics. Exactly what a car buying experience should be! Thanks to Jonathan and to the management at Wantagh Mazda for a surprisingly pleasant and enjoyable experience.
