The car has less than 48,000 miles and Walter's has performed all the service, period. This is not directed at Mark but the organization. Let me emphasize that my mother FOLLOWED EVERY SERVICE RECOMMENDATION and performed all the preventative maintenance procedures. Let me summarize some facts. - On average, the car has been in the shop every 2,274 miles - Car has 48,000 miles and is driven frequently but not far - Total repair costs for 45,477 miles of service is $7,211.06 or $0.16 per mile - On 5 occasions, the car was back in the shop within 500 miles of being serviced - Currently the car is down again with a leaky valve cover gasket, replaced by Walter's a year ago for leakage, and now a leaking power steering pump. When calculating cost of ownership for a Mercedes Benz, based on fees paid to maintain a model touted as one of Mercedes most reliable, I caution you to add $0.16 per mile for service. Let me summarize by saying that it would be nice if service advisors had an ethical component tied to their income. Specifically, work to resolve reliability issues as opposed to leveraging an opportunity to reach into customer's pockets. Mark knows this car has had more than its share of problems but chose to burden my mother financially for the vehicle's poor reliability. My car acted up on the way to work and I dro I am very thankful for the service I receive from JR Rodriguez at Walters Mercedes Benz in Riverside, CA. My car acted up on the way to work and I drove it straight to the closest dealer. I don't usually have my car service at Walters so they didn't have my records. However, even though I didn't have an appointment and I hadn't been a customer there in the past, JR made me feel very welcome and comfortable. He kept me informed of my cars progress and called me a couple of days after the service was completed. Thank you so much JR More

Vehicle just would not pass a smog check! I own a 2001 MB that just would not pass smog. For five months, way past the registration due date, I did all the so-called reset the parameters dri I own a 2001 MB that just would not pass smog. For five months, way past the registration due date, I did all the so-called reset the parameters driving in hopes to pass the smog check. Remember I'm trying to do this without getting a citation. I finally decided to take it Walters MB and was met by Brandon Monaco. I told Brandon my problem and he assured me he would get his service team members on board to try to find the problem. Due to the complexity of the issue, the issue would more than likely be a few days to diagnose. I agreed to leave the car with them and received a loaner vehicle. A very nice loaner car I might add. Throughout the week, phone calls were made to me, parts were ordered, more test were done. Some test proved positive but some sent me back to square one. Newer parts replaced the new ones that were just put in car and other parts were installed. Two weeks later and quite a few dollars in cost, my car was ready for pick up. Two days later, my car finally passed its smog check. This review cannot explain all the help Brandon and the service crew put into my car to get it to work properly. I can tell you that even though I paid real good money to get it fixed, I could hear the concern in Brandon's voice to assure me everything is being done to make me satisfied. Well, Brandon did. Well done. I own three MB's. Take a guess who I trust with them.???? More
