Took my 2012 c250 to Walter's and so grateful Joseph was my service advisor! check engine light come on and unfortunately it happened when vehicle was due for Smog. It was PO705 and farther diagnostic show my service advisor! check engine light come on and unfortunately it happened when vehicle was due for Smog. It was PO705 and farther diagnostic showed the TCU transmission control unit needed replacement, along with transmission fluid service, also had emergency brake assembly replaced...these jobs done and so far no xx engine light. I will soon have MB smog there too. But Joseph kept me informed of all repairs and arranged for rides to & from & even went beyond to see that my car was brought to new again! Thank you Joseph for your knowledge, professional and communication during that time...what a relief to have you at Walters & as my service advisor! More
The engine light suddenly came on and stayed on until I took the car in for service. David Greene explained that the problem could be connected to any number of things and arranged for my car to be servic took the car in for service. I would like to also include how awesome Morris Gaines our Salesman is who recently assisted me in my purchase of a new 2021 MBZ GLE. I BROUGHT MY SMARTCAR IN TO HAVE SOME WORK DONE. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT FOUR HOURS TO DO THE REPAIRS. I DROVE THERE FROM PALM SPRINGS AND WAS GOING TO WAIT FOR MY CAR TO BE DONE. THREE HOURS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT FOUR HOURS TO DO THE REPAIRS. I DROVE THERE FROM PALM SPRINGS AND WAS GOING TO WAIT FOR MY CAR TO BE DONE. THREE HOURS LATER, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO KEEP MY CAR OVERNIGHT AND FINISH THE WORK THE NEXT MORNING. THEY WOULD PAY FOR A RENT A CAR FOR A DAY FOR ME. WHEN I CALLED THE NEXT DAY, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULDN'T BE READY UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I REMINDED THEM ABOUT THE ONE DAY RENT A CAR, THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. LONG STORY SHORTENED, FIVE DAYS LATER MY CAR WAS FINALLY READY AND I CAME BACK TO PICK IT UP. KNOWING THAT I HAD TO GET THE WORK DONE ON MY CAR, I PAID THE OVERPRICED BILL AND PICKED UP MY CAR. I RECIEVED A CALL A FEW DAYS LATER FROM THE RENTAL COMPANY SAYING THAT WALTERS MERCEDED OF RIVERSIDE ONLY PAID FOR FOUR DAYS FOR THE RENTAL!!!! THE FIFTH DAY WAS MY RESPONSIBLILITY!!! IF THEY KNEW THAT THEY ONLY PAY FOR FOUR DAYS, THEN WHY DID THEY TAKE THERE SWEET A** TIME AND NOT FINIGH THE WORK FOR FIVE DAYS??? I TOOK MY CAR IN ON DECEMBER 10TH AND I TRIED CONTACTING THEM THIS WHOLE TIME ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND EVERY TIME I CALLED I WAS TOLD THAT SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK..NO ONE DID UNTIL TODAY JANUARY 12TH!!!! THEY SAID IT IS THERE POLICY TO PAY FOR ONLY FOUR DAYS. THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE YOUR CAR READY WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM IF YOU EVER HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR CAR WITH THEM AT ALL!!! IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS, I AM SURPRISED THAT ANYONE WOULD BE DUMB ENOUGH TO RETURN TO THEM AGAIN!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED TO BADLY BY A CAR SERVICE IN MY LIFE!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN......VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...... More
