Never thought I'd say it! Ok, I never thought I'd say that I thoroughly enjoyed the process of purchasing an automobile at a dealership. That is exactly the experience I had, a pleasant one. My sales agent, Peter Tecson helped navigate me through the otherwise daunting task of determining my "must haves" and "like to have" in a luxury car. I had spontaneously dropped into Walter's Automotive in Riverside to take a peek at an Suv and a few short hours later drove off the lot with a brand new GLC 300. Walter's gets a five rating on everything from the cleanliness, professionalism, friendly sales people and fabulous service, not to mention the highest quality luxury cars. I would highly recommend Walter's and ask for Peter Tecson! More
The Worse Mercedes Dealership Ever in So Cal Apparently, this dealership and the team of staff starting from the general manager, Raymond Burke and a host of his sales people are scammers! This t Apparently, this dealership and the team of staff starting from the general manager, Raymond Burke and a host of his sales people are scammers! This the worse of all dealerships in the Southern California! I bought a 2015 ML 350 rear wheel drive from this dealership night of 09/22/16 and for some reasons had to change it for a 2016 GLE 400 as the performance and other factors in the car necessary the change. They change me taxes and licenses on the two vehicles within 7 days! When I cried out too the so called general manager, he decided to cancel the prior transaction and charge me MSRP a difference of about $5,000.00 from the price I had negotiated and bought the SUV four days prior. He also instructed his employees to make me sign that they did not force the car on me. I have had about 32 emails with is so called general manager, to refund the excess of the money he charge me, to no avail. Reported to MBUSA, they advised only the dealership can take car of the problem. Sincerely there's a lot to write about this dealership act I can never recommend it to anyone, no matter what! He had stressed me out so much ,I have made all this known to him. As a breast cnacer survival, in the breast cancer month and my birth month; what I thought would be a celebration for me, is all stress from Walter's Mercedes Benz. Above all I complained about the color of the vehicle itslf, bu that was the only GLE 400 they had at the dealership! The did everything possible to push it to me. I am not at all happy with the transactions with them, and will advise people don't fall for their 5 or 7 days Exchange policy: It's a way to scam! These poeple are heartless, believe me. How can anyone sell a car at the end of the year for MSRP price? I made it known to the general manager, Raymond Burke how heartless he was. I bought this car because my last 2012 ML 350 was totaled in an accident August 12, 2016. There was no compassion, no understanding and no regard for fellow human being form the way this man had handled the situation. I will not give up until I find a resolution to this unfair treatment by and large. Please think twice before you ever step into Walter's Mercedes Benz. I was there because they had the low mileage 2015 that I later retuned because of the earlier mentioned factors. only one or two people there are reliable, but overall this was a really nightmare! I have dealt with many Mercedes dealership, none comparably on negative side to this one. And it's also quite a distance from my home! What a horrible, disgusting, experience! Shame on Walter's Mercedes Benz dealership of Riverside CA.! They changed the number on the odometer reading on the contract, the odometer for the 2016 GLE reads almost 200miles at delivery, they wrote 6 miles on the contract. When I found out about ti, the general manager perceive every thing they did wrong as accusation, for this reason, he will not further respond to my emails. They had no sticker on my new vehicle that night, we drove about two miles when my husband found out and we turned back to get the registration sticker for the window. What if price officer had stopped me, to harass me of a stolen vehicle? No apology from this sloppy and scamming dealership, or the general manager! Raymond Burke had to tell me, people compromise on buying new vehicles. This is not the first of new vehicle i had bought, and for him to tell me, "enjoy it" was another dismissal of my concerns with the purchase! The first two weeks I was up early in the morning with chills and told this callous and heartless manager my encounters, It al meant nothing to him, all he wanted is the money! My money! There's a lot more with this encounters to write it all here! Highly disappointing, hurtful experience! :(( More
Rocky start TROPHY FINISH My husband Bill and I came in looking for a new lease for myself where we met Christian who took us right up stairs to look at the MB CLA 250's. Christian was patient and knowledgable about the cars features and details. He took us for a test drive where i fell in love with the car. We then sat down with Christian to attempt to work out a lease deal. We also made sure to inform him that we needed to work out a trade-in for our Kia Optima (lease was ending on that car). Christian stated that it wouldn't be an option to do a trade in of another brand, and tried to convince us to lease the Mercedes and then deal with the Kia lease end on our own. Once we indicated that this wouldn't be an option, it was almost as if Christian turned on the high pressure salesmenship giving a lot of answers of "Maybe" and "I dont know." There was a lot of back and forth between Bryan, Sales Manager, and Christian behind the scenes. Byran evientually came over and said they would be able trade in the Kia. We then spent a considerable amount of time trying to work out financing/payments. The only constructive feedback I would give to Christian is to truly listen to your customers criteria and situation on leasing a new car. For example if we say we only want to put $2k down dont come back with estimates not even showing $2k down. Because of all the back and forth and pressure to buy now we wanted to take the night to sleep on it. I woke up still loving the car, so we went in to work out a deal with Bryan that we were all comfortable with. Julio, Finance, was exceptional. He made it a seamless process. He had a warm and welcoming vibe about him that made signing a bunch of paperwork actually enjoyable. He was easy to talk to and you can tell he has pride for the work he does and passion for the company he works for. Great asset to the team and company. We then were introduced to Matt (Trophy finish to come) who assisted us in saying goodbye to our Kia and hello to our new Mercedes. He was professional, friendly, and even assisted me in getting back my NFL Eagles license plate frame. He presented us with a gift box with a pen and keychain. He connected our bluetooth and showed us any features we wished to see. He thanked us for our business and welcomed us to the family. We drove off the lot and proceded just across the street to Audi, lets just say it was a good day for Walter! After leaving Audi, I didnt even get a mile down the road when all of my dash lights came on and service error messages caused me to have to turn around and pull back into the Mercedes dealership. The service department was closed for the day but Aaron, closing Salesmen, took our keys and assured us someome would look at it and get back to us first thing in the morning. He was new to Mercedes and was very empathetic to our situation. This wasn't in anyones' control but still disappointing as a first time Mercedes buyer to not be able to bring your new car home with you. The next day the opening Sales Manager called to inform me that Aaron left her detailed information about my situation and wanted to extend an apology and let me know they are working on it. We then dealt with David from the Service department who brought us up to speed on what was wrong with the car, which turned out to just be a bent wire and an easy fix. He gave us his card for future reference to assist us on any upcoming service needs. He was sensitive to our situation and gave great customer service. A few days later we got a follow up call from Matt Nouri, who really turned the rocky experience around for the TROPHY WIN! His call was so genuine and personalized from the short time we spent together, and he remembered the littlest details. He brought up the "tough Eagles loss" from the weekend which made myself and husband laugh. It wasn't just a check off his list of things to do that day he truly made us feel valued as a customer. He extended an offer to let us have a shopping spree in their gift shop. But honestly it was his personalized call that really won my business over. Thank you for hiring such an outstanding individual to serve our community. More
