Took to long. Nearly 3 hours to buy a car. Got vehicle home and all usb plugs, cigarette lighters, media hubs are stripped out of it. Nearly 3 hours to buy a car. Got vehicle home and all usb plugs, cigarette lighters, media hubs are stripped out of it. More
The arrival process was a little confusing. In the past a service writer met you at the vehicle to get the process started. The procedure at the new building is a little confusing. As a 7 year user of this service,it was awful. From the minute I pulled into the service bay,it was nothing but slow service, indifferent attitude and missed information toward my needs. When my car died in the middle of traffic, I knew a trip to Walser was in my future. Why? It’s because I’ve always received excellent service from the firm. We informed once again we had a hybrid vehicle and explained what was going on with our vehicle. The staff informed us it would take about 60-90 minutes for them to tell us what was going on with the vehicle. After 90 minutes I decided to get an update with the staff about our vehicle. The staff informed us he didn’t realize they didn’t have a hybrid technician working on that day and therefore they couldn’t service our vehicle on that day. He asked me to go take a seat in the waiting area and he will come to get us soon. After being in the waiting area for about 10 minutes, I saw the staff who had helped us leaving with a back pack. I immediately went back to the service intake area and talked to another intake representative and explained what had happened. He apologized and I asked to talk to the manager. After talking to the manager, he said we could bring the car on the following day. I explained we were leaving town the next day and needed the car fixed. I asked if he had a loaner vehicle. He checked and yes, he did. He asked us to authorize service to our vehicle. We asked how much it would cost and he said anywhere between $1200 and $6000. We said we couldn’t authorize that much price range but could authorize up to $1500. The manage said he wouldn’t give us the loaner vehicle if we didn’t authorize them to fix our vehicle for a price that would fall within that large price range. We decided not to do business with Walser and not get the loaner car for a price that could cost us $6000. We were very disappointed that we spent 3 hours there, no one came to communicate with us about our potential repair and most of all, they scheduled us knowing that we had a hybrid when in fact they didn’t have a hybrid certified mechanic on site on the day of our appointment. We ended up getting a new vehicle o that day and also kept our Toyota hybrid. More
