Bronwyn was knowledgeable a bout the car I was interested in. She did a fine job explaining how Walser's pricing worked for both the car I was interested in and how my car would be evaluated for trade in. in. My only complaint was that the pricing was all determined by Walser and I had no idea to really know if I was getting the best possible price. While I like not having to haggle, I also need to be more comfortable that they've really accurately calculated their best prices, etc. While that works well for a brand new car where I can truly compare prices and trim packages, it is more an act of faith when dealing with used cars when there are more factors to consider such as miles, age, etc. I realize Bronwyn has no control over the pricing aspects--John, her team lead handled that. I had just learned, late on a Friday, that I had "drowned" my beloved Olds Intrigue which I had owned since 1999. My wife and I knew that we needed a car but unlike when her car "died" in December "drowned" my beloved Olds Intrigue which I had owned since 1999. My wife and I knew that we needed a car but unlike when her car "died" in December of 2010, I had not even thought about what Make, model or variety of car that I might want. In the rain at 4:30 we were driving and walking around the dealership lot looking at cars (since this was where my wife had purchased her Venza in December 2010) as she was trying to talk me into a Toyota. In the middle of the rainstorm who should appear but Bronwyn asking if she could help; saying it looked like we needed assistance. Over the next 2 hours we sat in cars (squeezed into some) drove cars, looked at various models colors and varieties, as Bronwyn put it, to get me into the right car for me. We must have been more than a little indecisive, but she never gave up on us. After a number of non hits, she relooked at the listing of available vechiles and said, you know there is a car that you might just fall in love with. At first she was unable to find it, but since it had just came in and she said it could probably be over in the other lot. We drove over and sure enough there it sat, still in the protective coverings used for transport. As my wife says, Bronwyn worked hard and found the perfect car for you. We went back to the dealership and even though it was late she was in no hurry to rush to the end. We then talked to John Hedstrom about the trade in value of my old car and the fact that it was at the walzer buick dealership up the road. After a long discussion John asked if I had talked to my insurance company yet, which I had not, not even thinking it would be a covered problem. We put a deposit down on the car and said we would come back the next (Sat) morning. When we did come in Sat, John had already been to the Buick Dealership and was able to drive the car to your dealership--only to take some "abuse" from some of the people out front when he drove in, telling him he needed a new car (it did sound that bad!!) He even had to drive it back to the Buick dealership to sit and wait for an insurance review during the next week. It only died once in the block drive but fortunately he was able to get it started again. He reafirmed my suspicion that he did not think we should drive it home. In short (although this is pretty long) we concluded our deal for the Camry SE and met with Mike Melchoir to complete all the paper work in a very efficient and professionally friendly manner. Our experience was a great one. My wife loves the lowest price up front sales and tells me often how I got the perfect car for me thanks to Bronwyn. I know they are both right, it just took me a while to adjust to the sudden demise of my hand picked baby. I guess it took another hand picked "new kid" to take it's place. Thanks to all of you. In looking around, Walser's list price was the lowest in the metro area. Oscar the sales person we worked with was professional and courteous going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Oscar over the period of 2 days followed up, returned my phone calls promptly and got the me answers I needed in a quickly. In working with Oscar I always felt like he was looking out for what was best for me and my family. More
