I have no idea which of the contradictory explanations given to me by the guy I checked the car in with and the service manager to believe. What I do know for sure: they lied! They broke a part, then put that part on the list of items I would have to pay for IF THEY BROKE THEM. I went to my car and checked the vent on the list and it was already broken. Would you trust these people to tell the truth the next time you needed repairs? Also contacted my sales person, Tom Kennedy AND WALSER Service Manager, Chris Schieve and got nowhere. Walser sold me a car that was unsafe to drive (according to one of the mechanics). I was told Walser Recon checked the car over for safety—-this was not true. Problems that were an issue before I even bought the car (under duress as I had to trade the first car back in because it drove like a truck w/in 30 or so days) continued. The car has been back at Walser for repairs so many times since I bought it, only this time they wanted me to pay for a problem it had before I bought it AND pay for a new dash and vent if they broke them during the repair of the actuator mode door. They had already broken the vent and wanted $225 for that. I caught them in that lie and they ordered me a new vent. But you have to catch them first! If you think vent the details here will stop me from telling people about all of this you are mistaken. Also I am an old lady they are taking advantage of. 77 and in very poor health. Way to go tough guys! More
