We walked in to Walser Toyota trying to figure out a way out a bad situation. We had our current used loan still, but the car was toast. We knew were were going to have to take an upside down loan. Bob w out a bad situation. We had our current used loan still, but the car was toast. We knew were were going to have to take an upside down loan. Bob worked with us and helped not only get the old car and loan under the new car loan. He was very honest with us the whole time, helping us to understand what usually happens when taking an upside down car loan. He was extremely helpful and honest throughout the whole process. We would definitely be back and would ask for him again. He helped to make the process as painless as possible. He also kept us laughing, which does help the process quite a bit! More

I was originally looking for a subaru and went into the Walser Subaru in Burnsville and the service was great, I liked that they weren't trying to push me into a vehicle but want to help me find what I wanted. I drive by Walser Toyota everyday to go to work so I finally looked on their website to see if anything interested me. I found a 2004 Corolla and called on it, they set up a appointment to meet with a salesmen and test drive the car. I showed up to see "Spike" waiting outside to welcome me. (On the coldest day of the year 1/23/13) I thought he was crazy, but he welcomed me and sat me down, offered me something to drink and went and got the car. I instantly fell in love with the car. After the test drive I wasn't 100% positive if I could afford it, but Spike explained everything to me, finaince and asked what payment would be right for me. I was also used to car dealers trying to down talk my trade, but not at Walser, they gave me a print out of what the car was going for at the actions and gave me that price. They just wanted to break even on the deal, not to rip me off or down talk me. After all that I said I'd take it, shook hands and started the paper work. This was a new experience for me and Spike was great at explaining all of it. I left that night with a new car and smile on my face. That was the treatment I wanted when buying a car, respect, someone that would listen, and the feeling that I could leave at anytime without a fight. I appreciated everything Spike and Walser did for me. They treated a Iraq War Vet with the respect we all deserve. Thanks Spike! Now I have a groovy Corolla, probably will see you soon, my mom wants a new Camry so if I can convince her to drive from Fargo we'll be going to Walser Toyota to Spike. More
We had a great experience working with Darren. He had answers to all of our questions, and was not hesitant to figure it out if he didn't. My husband and I felt like we were working with him as a partne answers to all of our questions, and was not hesitant to figure it out if he didn't. My husband and I felt like we were working with him as a partner to find everything that was right for us. You can tell that he really believes in what he is selling, and that makes a huge difference. Thank you! More
This dealership bounces customers around to whomever is around at the moment, and one hand never knows what the other is doing. The result: no one knows the history of you/your vehicle which results in c around at the moment, and one hand never knows what the other is doing. The result: no one knows the history of you/your vehicle which results in clueless customer service and a bad customer experience. If it was just one incident I'd call it "miscommunication" or confusion; but since we've lost track of how many things they've messed up I'll just say we won't be back. For anything. And we just bought a $35K vehicle. Our test drives were fine, sales people are not on commission and it's no-hassle pricing so they are just there to answer your questions. However once we decided to purchase, the circus arrived. 1) We were paying cash so the sales transaction should have been simple and no more than 20 minutes (as it was with our last vehicle), but we were kept waiting for over 90 minutes! Lost track of the number of people who asked us for the exact same information, ran to the back, only to find yet another person in front of us 10 minutes later, asking for the same info, who then also disappeared into the abyss. They attempted to upsell us on some superfluous rust prevention (seriously??) paint and an extended warranty. After declining politely several times, they brought in the owner's kid/relative, Campbell Walser, who appears to be all of 19 and immature, to attempt the hard sell. Had our driver's licenses not been in "the back" we would have got up and left it all at that point – and unfortunately our bad experiences with Campbell didn’t end there. 2) When we finally got into the new vehicle to drive away, there was blood on the handle. GROSS! 3) Part of the purchase agreement was a leather repair that was to be done the next week. The first appointment was cancelled by Walser; we rescheduled for the next week, Walser also cancelled that 2 hours before, and on the THIRD attempt, we were doing an early morning drop-off but sales and service had not communicated so we wasted 30+ minutes while they tried to figure it out. Felt bad for the Service team, as it was obvious Sales (Campbell) had not done their part in communicating. Then I learned their shuttle would not in fact get me to work as it was "out of radius." They tried to set me up with a rental. The first paperwork showed what they would be charging me for the rental (next example: receptionist not communicating with service) – which of course also had to get corrected! 4) Despite having left my cell # on four separate occasions, they continued to call an old number that they had in their "system" - so I had to keep calling them and leaving the correct number...which they continued to NOT use. 5) During the appointment setups, the receptionists dropped the call 2x, transferred me to the wrong department 1x, told me Campbell no longer worked there, and were generally clueless 6) When I went to the DMV to complete the title/registration, found that several mistakes had been made on the Walser paperwork and I ended up paying another $140+ in title and plate fees. 7) When my husband called to speak with a manager about all the mix-ups and mistakes, that manager (Jeremy) seemed only mildly concerned with these issues and offered nothing to make it right. I will say that the vendor they use for leather repair did good work (once it finally got done) but that is about all for the Plus column. I’m sure I’m missing a few of their other flubs and mistakes but be assured, we won't be back. It's a circus. More

Our purchase of the 4Runner was smooth and efficient with Darren. His sales approach was professional and thorough. At no point did we feel any hard sales tactics.
