I am normally very happy with Walser service dept. Hoping yesterday was just an off day. Came in for oil change and tire rotation, forgot to mention to have tires filled with air as they were all low. Hoping yesterday was just an off day. Came in for oil change and tire rotation, forgot to mention to have tires filled with air as they were all low. I checked when I got home and passenger side was 29 lbs in both, driver side was 31 in both. Not a big deal but would be nice to have that taken care of there as part of the service. Also mentioned a bad odor from heater when first turned on, thought maybe the cabin filter was bad, was told it was replaced at last service should be fine. Was told that if we use auto setting to turn off the recirculating button as that would cause the humidity in the vehicle to stay in system and contribute to the odor. I have used the vehicle 3 times since leaving Walser, and the recirculating system has not come on at all. We use the recirculating system in summer to cool vehicle quicker when it is really hot. I have always had to push the button to turn it on or off it has never just come on, on it’s own, and we always use the auto feature for heat and air. So not sure if we need to replace cabin filter or not but the odor is still there for a short time after the heat/air is initially turned on. Aside from these 2 very minor things I am satisfied and will continue to bring our vehicle back to Walser for service. More
