To top it off, the charging cable was missing. Stay away from this dealership! More

We received inaccurate information, which came across as misleading. We had to repeat information on several occasions and in the end it was still incorrect. Then we got the you need to do this now sales approach. Lastly, we dealt with two different sales folks and in the weeds was a finance person, who apparently makes all decisions. Bottom line, very unprofessional and I would not recommend More
I wanted to purchase a vehicle from this dealer but I'm located 5 hours away so I called in the morning and talked to jorge. I attempted to make a down payment or even purchase the vehicle via wire transfer to hold the car but was told they could not "hold" it for me. The sales rep was too busy with another customer at that time and told me he'd call me back later to work out the details. Six hours passed with no call so I called back to see what was going on and talked to a different sales representative who informed me that the other rep left for the day. I asked if I could purchase the car again from this sales rep and he told me that wouldn't be possible because they were HOLDING it for someone else that was interested in it that afternoon. Funny, considering I was told that they can't "HOLD" anything, even if offering to prepay for the vehicle. I called again the following morning to check on the situation and was told that both sales reps were unavailable at the time. My advice to anyone reading this is to find what your looking for somewhere else. This dealerships sales representatives get the same commission regardless of what they sell so it does not matter who they get the money from and obviously are overpaid beings they didn't have time to accept a wire transfer for a purchase. I'm not listing the name of the other sales representative because he actually seemed apologetic about the situation. Walter Toyota may sell decent vehicles, but trying to buy anything from them is a chore. What ever happened to the days that you could give cash to someone for a product without worrying that it would be sold out from under you is beyond me. More

And due to our 4 year old son being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last week, and our family not currently having health insurance, the upcoming payments were sadly not going to be manageable for us. Darion drove to 2 separate dealerships, helped us review and test test drive 2 different vehicles, and got various members of their team to get involved to ensure we were getting into a nice, reliable and affordable vehicle, that we were getting a fair trade in value, and that we were getting a monthly payment that would be manageable for us with these life changing circumstances. His level of expertise, knowledge and compassion will not be forgotten by our family and we will return to him in the future for any vehicle purchasing needs. We would highly recommend Darion and the Walser Toyota Bloomington team to anyone looking to ensure you are being taken care of and being treated as a person based on your individual circumstances and not just some numbers an algorithm generates on a computer. They were hard to deal with so we bought elsewhere. We wanted to get our car priced for trade in and they wouldn’t do until we said we were buying the car. How does that make sense. Brought car in. Service balanced tires 7/7 Reached out to Farhan due to continued vibrations. Offered appt on 7/8, but then service was swamped so Farhan offered Monday, 7/10. Service replaced front brakes and rotors. 7/12 Went to clean the windshield and the wiper fluid leaked a large puddle in our garage. Smell like burning antifreeze from engine area, and still feel a pulling to the right. Arranged with Farhan to bring car in on 7/13 – Had to postpone until 7/14 due to work. Brought car in. Was told in service that I had no appt. After discussions, they would need it for a couple of days and was offered a rental car for $45/day. 1:35 PM, asked to speak with management at front desk. Was seated at table and waited until 2:20. Went back to front desk to inquire about someone coming to see me. As I was seated back at table, service advisor came back up to me and asked about using a rental. I indicated that I wasn’t willing to pay for it given the circumstances. He said the fees would be waived. Got rental car and left for home. 7/17 – Received video inspection of vehicle. Noted issue with wiper/pinched hose, AC compressor leak, and coolant reservoir leak. Vehicle is at Walser Polar Chevrolet now. 7/18 – Received word via a phone call to the dealer, that vehicle should be done around 7/21. 7/19 – Received voicemail from John indicating that vehicle should be done at the end of the week. He will call back when it is completed. 7/20 – Amy went to get the car back as we had received a call indicating the car was done. After talking with a couple of people, the service department found the car. It was determined that not all the items pointed out had been repaired/replaced. Service agreed to keep the car and finish the required repairs. Amy was told it would probably be another week without the car. 7/26 – Amy called dealership for an update. Car had been returned from Polar Chev to Toyota dealership yesterday. No one called either of us to inform us of this. Service person indicated that Polar Chev was instructed to charge the AC, not fix the AC compressor, as had been previously talked about. Amy is calling back to speak with a sales manager about returning the vehicle for 100% refund. More
