I bought a 2013 Buick Verano. I was told it had a 3 month warranty that would cover anything that would go wrong. Less than a month later it broke down and needed to be towed in. They told me my car did not qualify for the warranty I was assured it had upon purchase. I attempted on multiple occasions to get ahold of someone to discuss this blatant lie at purchase and it took me going in a week after bringing it in physically to be able to speak to a manager. I was still told I had to pay 500 dollars which I did. Brought it back in for the same issue less than a week later. I was told they suddenly couldn't read any of the codes even though I had them read the day before by a different mechanic. When I attempted to leave it stalled 4 times. Finally, several days later I was told it would be a 1700 dollar fix. I plan on speaking to a lawyer about the lemon law since it has been 3 times with the same issue and they lied at the time of purchase. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM WALSER SUBARU. They lie and do not stand by their cars. Also, when we did get someone on the phone they were rude and laughed at us. They were just as rude in person at the service center. More

I purchased a Jeep Compass from this dealership. They told me the vehicle went through their Vehicle Reconditioning center and would not be for sale unless it passed the 35 stage process before it They told me the vehicle went through their Vehicle Reconditioning center and would not be for sale unless it passed the 35 stage process before it is shown online or on the lot. Apparently their process didn't involve checking the sub frame of the Compass I purchased from them. I paid $8,500 for this used vehicle (almost 4 times the blue book price today - 10 months later). They listed the vehicle with 120,000 only to arrive to look at the vehicle and see it was actually 138,000. BIG difference, but no difference in the sales amount. I purchased new 60,000 mile tires for this vehicle in February at a tire place only to have the front two tires now down to 4/32" today, thanks to the GREAT shape of the vehicle I purchased from Walser Subaru. Reconditioning center should have caught both the sub frame that needs replacing and the HUGE alignment problem, as well as problem with STRUTS. But they found nothing and did nothing but push their "Vehicle passed inspection through our Recondition Center" speech. Now I'm stuck with repair costs at $6,300 for a vehicle that is barely worth $2,300. WOW. Was I taken for a ride! They mentioned their reconditioning center multiple times to put me at ease, and make me BELIEVE the used car I paid cash for is actually of some value. WRONG!! The Used Car Manager, Solange, was also rude when I questioned the mileage and the price. How DARE I question the selling price!! If you EVER buy any used vehicle from this dealership, and I STRONGLY caution you against it, IMMEDIATELY take that vehicle and pay to have the entire vehicle inspected at an independent mechanic!! I have purchased six vehicles from Walser Nissan, but will NEVER do business with Walser Subaru EVER AGAIN. They are ABSOLUTE CROOKS and should NOT AT ALL BE TRUSTED!!!! More

The dealership was very user friendly when I first met them during the COVID pandemic. I had an appointment to me Charlie Yeang, a sales consultant. From the onset, he was very patient and helpful on finding out what vehicle I was interested in and what features/options would fit both our lifestyle and our budget. We ordered a Forester Limited and and kept me informed all the way until delivery. It was very much appreciated. Charlie was careful not to be overly aggressive, but answered all of my questions in a calming tone. I was very comfortable working with him. Terrible experience with purchasing a used car from them. Nothing but problems. The check engine light has been on twice in the 2 months since purchase. Walser Subaru is an absolute garbage dealership. I purchased a 21 Crosstrek from them in which I traded them my 13 Crosstrek 2 months ago. They have still not paid off the loan on the trade. When I call I get put on hold and then switched to various employees who tell me some variation of "It's not my problem sir". I have had to take days off of work to travel the 90 miles to the dealership. I have had to make 2 payments on the loan for a car that Walser has listed on their website for sale. If you go shopping there be warned that the 2013 Crosstrek (Stock #: 13AR176T) still has a lean on it from Wells Fargo auto loan and is not Walser's property to sell. Worst customer experience of my life, bar none. My 2017 Forrester has abandoned me on the roadside three times in the five years that I have owned it. About a month ago the engine blew out on the highway. High oil consumption was to blame, a problem common to mid teen Forresters. I called Walser and talked to the general manager, Bob Splittstoesser. He explained that I would have to pay for the car to be towed to Walser ($50 through AAA), for an initial assessment ($139), and for an engine teardown ($1000). I asked if he could help with the teardown, given that the engine only had 64,000 miles on it. He said, "If I do that for you, I would have to do it for everyone." The words speak for themselves. The needed repair turned out to be a new short block and cylinder head refurbishing, at a total cost of $8100. Patrick Podewills, the tech in charge of my case, suggested I file a Limited Lifetime Warranty claim with CNA. Walser no longer has a business relationship with CNA; they handle the lifetime warranties in house now. Surprise, surprise, CNA rejected the claim. Then I contacted Subaru of America, which agreed to cover half the repair. Patrick wrote to me saying that I would pay $4500 and Subaru would cover $3500. When I pointed out that I would be paying far more than half under this scenario, he said that Subaru was covering half of the "warranty rate" ($7100) while I would have to cover the balance of the "customer rate" ($8100). I had to call back Subaru of America and persuade them to compel Walser Subaru to charge me the warranty rate so that I would indeed cover half of the repair. One week after picking up the supposedly repaired car with new short block and refurbished cylinders, it broke down again. It is now sitting in my local repair shop being assessed. I have reached out to Bob and Patrick and so far have received no response. I would strongly recommend that you avoid Walser Subaru at all costs. My relationship with them has cost me dearly in time and money. More
