I gave them a call and the general manager, Jeff Holmquist, quickly and pleasantly gave me his time to answer everything I needed even though it had been close to 4 months after my purchase. My interactions with the people at Walser Burnsville continue to be a very pleasant experience. -James V. More

Charlie Leang, the representative we worked with, was knowledgeable about all models and options, and did a very good job helping us narrow down the options to consider. For those who aren't familiar with Walser, they are upfront about the discounts they apply to MSRPs, so there are no "games" to play with sticker prices. Additionally, their staff are trained to handle the entire sales process, so this makes for a very congruous experience with knowledgeable staff. We look forward to doing business with this dealership in the future. More

Walser Subaru didn't want my business I had done all of the research, and knew exactly what I wanted when I walked into the Walser Subaru dealership about an hour ago. Nobody jumped on me I had done all of the research, and knew exactly what I wanted when I walked into the Walser Subaru dealership about an hour ago. Nobody jumped on me when I walked in, and I liked that - as I really wanted the time to sit in the vehicle and check it out. When I was finished checking it out I was ready to buy a brand new Subaru Outback. The vehicle was right next to the sales desk, and I stood there for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me. I think pretty much everybody at the desk notice me, and three sales guys actually made eye contact with me, and every one of them looked away immediately. Not sure if I didn't look like a "buyer", or if they were just too darn busy discussing the details of their day off. I really felt like my business was not important to them, and will be heading to Bloomington Subaru tomorrow to see if they will take my money. Walser sales people used to be overly pushy, and I'm speaking from experience - as at one time I sold for them. Back then if you didn't recite their "Walser Way" script (word for word) - you would be meeting with the GM at the end of the day. Things have definitely changed within the Walser organization, and maybe we could be somewhere in the middle guys? More
Never coming back again! I brought my Forester in because the door switch wasn't working. My ignition light didnt come on and the "keys left in ignition chime" didn't activate I brought my Forester in because the door switch wasn't working. My ignition light didnt come on and the "keys left in ignition chime" didn't activate. My courtesy lights didn't come on, when I opened the door, either. It took them 1.5 hrs to diagnose the problem for $99 plus tax. The door switch was missing! Then they proceeded to tell me that my 2011 Forester didn't have an ignition light (it does and I told them so, but they insisted that it didnt). They said that the "keys are left in the ignition" chime only activates when the ignition is on. Ridiculous! I have proof of their ignorance. They even wrote it down on my work order. They treated me like I knew nothing, when in reality, I seemed to know more than they did about my car. Then they tried to talk me out of ordering a new door switch, saying that I could use the key fob to get the courtesy lights to come on. Since I insisted on ordering a new door switch, they told me that it would cost $233 plus tax and shipping to install it. I called another Subaru dealer (Luthers) and the price was $99 installed. Why such a big difference? Well I ended up buying the part, for a few bucks, at an auto parts dealer and it took all of 1 minute to install. Everything works great, now. I have bought new Subaru's from Morries and I thought that I'd try this dealer, because they were closer to me. My daughter bought a new Outback from Luther's Subaru. My other daughter is planning to buy a new Subaru next year. I guess that we know where we AREN'T going for our next new Subaru. WALSERS. Wish that I could have given them NO stars. More
