As a young woman, my experience was demeaning. I have had the same service specialist twice in two weeks. The first time he asked me if I was sure my engine light was on and that I wasn’t confused I have had the same service specialist twice in two weeks. The first time he asked me if I was sure my engine light was on and that I wasn’t confused by how many lights there are on the dash. The second time, in the lobby full of people, responded to a question about my engine with “I don’t know what to tell you.” He left me extremely embarrassed and without answers to my questions. One day after service, the problem I asked about came back. Lastly, as I was reading the paperwork to sign, he told me don’t worry about reading it, just sign. This is extremely alarming as it is paperwork in signing my name on. If I wasn’t under a lease, I would not be going back. More
Simple oil change back in October 2024 on my 2021 CX5. Tech overfilled the engine oil way over the max mark. Car was in winter storage and put back in service last month. Good thing I caught it before any Tech overfilled the engine oil way over the max mark. Car was in winter storage and put back in service last month. Good thing I caught it before any permanent engine damage was inflicted by this error. Is there a final check done by someone other than the assigned tech before the car is released? If not, that is something that needs to be incorporated into the procedures. This could have resulted in some hefty costs. More
