Unwilling to do the basic for customer service items such as asking permission before doing the work. I had struts that were replaced and we had no idea something was wrong. I never was invited to see the br as asking permission before doing the work. I had struts that were replaced and we had no idea something was wrong. I never was invited to see the broken struts or described how they were bad. They took no videos and then said we came in with an issue when we had not. Then my steering wheel cap came back scratched up but the manager said his tech never came near it… lol ok. Because you did not drive the vehicle onto a lift. It apparently costs 1200 dollars because it would mean replacing the airbag too. How about providing an alternative like leather scratch kit or apologizing instead of saying it did not happen? I came to change the tires and have a sunroof inspected. When I drove home there was a weird noise and ball bearing sound when I turned because of the struts. The sunroof they said had a bad seal. But would not elaborate and said it was not covered under warranty. Ok. That was not what was explained to me when I purchased the car and I took great care in asking questions about it. So I called the warranty company and they said I could ask Nissan Corporate for goodwill. This is something the service advisor could have easily done but Kevin refused to do, saying it always gets rejected so why bother because hes been there for 7 years. Kevin had poor communication by not explaining anything about the struts or sunroof issues and I had to ask multiple clarifying questions just to get an understanding and he sounded like he was extremely irritated and defensive for having to communicate anything. He also was very poor at explaining any warranties and neither location had the same story for which warranty was used for the struts. Him and the manager Eric in Burnsville just sound like they do not care about their jobs, what they do for a living or how they treat customers. Nor is there any ownership in their part. I merely wanted clear communication about what was wrong with my vehicle and a solution and outcome I was comfortable with. When I picked up the car, another service advisor said it would be no problem to ask Nissan Corporate for goodwill. And he is right, it does not hurt to ask and if they say no to a sunroof repair on a four year old car that is the point of goodwill. Since Kevin told me to go to Walser Wayzata where I got the car and to deal with it there, I did. The Service manager there was willing to do the simple paperwork required and he did not have to, because the sunroof worked for him. The sunroof does not leak. So basically Burnsville did not even try with this and wasted my time and Wayzata Walser Nissans time by not just properly addressing it upfront. I doubt they ever even opened the sunroof. I was calm respectful and reasonable the whole time, wish Kevin could have communicated in the same manner. I will not go back here ever again. More
All time worse experience I’ve had with a dealership. Was contacted at least 5 times saying they wanted to buy out my lease and when I came in to talk they said they weren’t interested but could get me i Was contacted at least 5 times saying they wanted to buy out my lease and when I came in to talk they said they weren’t interested but could get me in a new car. Very much of a bait and switch sales tactic. Worse part of it all, when I went in to buy my car out of the lease, a salesperson interrupted the person I was working with offering all these new deals and told me how much I had done wrong in the process. If you’re looking to be mislead, this is the place to go! More
