He was not pushy or rude (like Volkwaggen dealers) and he made sure all of our questions were answered prior to us committing to something. My wife and I greatly appreciate Larry for what he did, and all the Walser Staff for making this process smooth and fast. WE WILL DEFINATELY BEING GOING BACK to get our next car from there! More
My wife and I purchased a used Acura RDX with "assistance" from Larry Flaa. After agreeing to the purchase and getting the car home, we discovered that the car came with no floor mats, one key (w "assistance" from Larry Flaa. After agreeing to the purchase and getting the car home, we discovered that the car came with no floor mats, one key (we had to have key made and be reimbursed later), no owners manual and previously agreed upon cosmetic corrections could not be fixed. Larry's favorite phrase quickly became "nothing could be done." We contacted Larry's manager, Dan Relsch, who promised to make the situation right with a replacement mats and an owner's manual. Dan promised a followup call within two days, but he never called back despite our leaving multiple messages (we are still waiting for his call). Finally, three weeks and many phone calls later, Larry informed us that our "RDX floor mats" and owner's manual were available. We got the mats home and, sure enough, the mats were for a CRV and didn't fit our car. It was yet another act of either complete incompetence, willful dishonesty or most likely, both. We finally spoke with a senior manager, who claims to have order the correct mats...we shall see. What a tremendous hassle and irritation! If you wish to be deal with a cheap, incompetent and/or dishonest dealer who is happy to take your money and then disappear, go to Wasler Honda. Otherwise take your money and run. More

"3 days or 300 hundred miles" is a marketing trick. If you buy a car from Walser and you find out the car needs work after you drove it off the lot - 1. They will not fix it 2. If you bring that trick. If you buy a car from Walser and you find out the car needs work after you drove it off the lot - 1. They will not fix it 2. If you bring that car back and get another one - you are stuck with the second choice regardless of what the problems might be. The policy ONLY applies to the first car (even if you bring it within the three days of the purchase of the 1st car). So technically it's like a lottery and if the second ticket doesn't win - you are out of luck. I have taken the policy wording all the way up to the GM and that achieved absolutely nothing. I am not even going to tell you how many phone calls I had to go through to try to get this resolved and how nobody at Walser ever calls you back once you buy a car from them. I don't know if it has ever happened to you anywhere else but at Walser I was told by a manager that he feels there is no need to talk to me and that the issue has been resolved through one of his employees. Mind you i bought a $17000 car from them and I got to talk to the manager once. I encourage you to not buy from Walser as they fail to meet customer's needs at every step at every level once they have your money. Plenty of other dealers out there. More
We had noticed some vibrations on our Odyssey van while freeway driving at certain RPMs. It was hard to describe the exact issue, but James and his team did some test driving to diagnose the problem. They also wanted to have a tranmission tech check it out the next day, so a rental car was arranged for me after work. I work in the Burnsville area, but live on the north side of town, so I greatly appreciated the loaner car. James kept us in the loop the whole time; telling us what they were looking at and what the next steps would be. We had purchased the extended warranty on our used van, which was a great thing since much of the needed work ended up being covered. Overall it was a smooth car repair experience working with Walser Honda. They are very friendly and treat their customers well. I would not hesitate to call James with any question or issue with our van in the future. He did a great job working with the warranty group and getting the approved work done in a timely manner. He made the service experience easy and painless. Now our van drives just wonderfully. No more juttering on the freeway, just smooth sailing! Thanks for a great customer experience! More
For what it's worth … we're new to MN, but we're also 45+ yr veterans when it comes to paying for automotive services. So, after having an "Exceeds Expectations" 1st experience last week when our Civic was yr veterans when it comes to paying for automotive services. This time, I asked my spouse to join me. Why? Because, I don't think that she totally believed the description of my initial experience at Walser. So what happened? Great Service. Great Value. Never been let down. I recently purchased a used 2008 Honda Accord from Walser Honda in Burnsville. This was my fourth Honda bought from this location, two since it became recently purchased a used 2008 Honda Accord from Walser Honda in Burnsville. This was my fourth Honda bought from this location, two since it became a Walser dealership. My wife and I have owned seven or more Honda vehicles, and two of my siblings families drive them now too. Roger Malley helped me with my most recent purchase. He was honest and straight forward when I was looking to get into an Accord, as my family was outgrowing my '07 Civic. My wife already drives a Pilot. I wanted to purchase an Accord right away, but he helped me decide to wait because he knew I really wanted a silver car with black interior. The cleanest car that was in my price, mileage and year range was gray. After convincing me to wait a couple of weeks, as their inventory moves quickly, I ended up going from looking at a '08 LX P (Premium) to purchasing an '08 EXL for only $450 more! Crazy as it seems, it looked just like the one I cut out of the catalog and pinned on my wall a month before this happened. I have had all of my service work done at Walser Honda, so I earned extra money off the purchase price with my Walser Rewards Points. Kirby and the other friendly people in the service department are always dependable to be right there when I pull in for service. The cookies, coffee, tv and several free to use computers with internet are there for you when waiting for your car to be serviced. It's a lot warmer and comfortable than when I used to get my oil changes at Jiffy Lube. Plus they wash your car! I have enjoyed the free weekly car wash with my Walser Rewards also. If I had to do it all over again, I know I would find the best prices at Walser Honda. I verified it several times when searching on carsoup.com and cars.com. Roger Malley took care of my purchase and I know I can count on Kirby and the service staff to keep my dream car going for the years ahead. More
