First off I've had great service at this location in the past but not this time. I bought my vehicle in and left it with the service department for a day due to a noise coming from the front, the mechanics past but not this time. I bought my vehicle in and left it with the service department for a day due to a noise coming from the front, the mechanics couldn't find the issue that time and gave it back to me. The noise got worse so I took it in about again a month later thinking it should be more evident now, they told me it was the ball joints-they sent a video saying the ball joints had some movement and play in them and was most likely the problem. I had a feeling that it wasn't the ball joints when I picked it up, also I had to pay an inspection fee for $175 because I didn't agree to any of the work. I decided to take it to a local repair shop chain to get a second opinion, they found a completely different issue that was making the sound, they did a little welding on a exhaust bracket and the issue was fixed for $200. Their inspection of the ball joints was that they were completely fine and did not need to be replaced. I would have spent $2000 for ball joints that didn't need to be replaced. At the time I understood that I paid $175 for the inspection and work I refused, but the inspection results were not accurate, so I feel like I should get that money back. Normally I have good service at this location, but not sure what happened this time and why a Honda mechanic couldn't find something that a mainstream chain auto mechanic did find. More
